I have reached out to this company to try to get quotes for a couple of projects in the past year. The first time I was told that they were not taking orders for truss quotes to to a 6 month backlog. No problem. I called back later in the year and they said they were now taking orders. I was patched through to sales and never received a callback. This happened for both lumber sales and for the truss branch for a couple of attempts for each location. I reached out on the digital contact form to see if maybe I can order through another location and have the order drop shipped to the Modesto branch.

This may be a great business once you are in the system. I can tell you that if you aren't, they are very busy or not very professional regarding fielding sales inquiries. I guess I can hope that business slows enough to get me a call back.

I am just a trucker that had a small amount of lumber coming into BMC west in Modesto. It was a Saturday and I knew they would not be open. But I decided to swing by and see if someone was in the yard and take the small amount off of me so I could progress down my route. I pulled off the road in front and watched for some movement in the yard. There was not. I was about to drive away and a BMC employee pulled up. I thought this might be my lucky day. I must have set off their security system. Because at first the employee seemed upset at me. I apologized and didn't realize what I had done. He could have been a rude and told me to go away. But instead he allowed me to come in the gate so he could unload me. Louis was the mans name. He refused to take a tip for unloading me on a Saturday. What a great person he is. It really made my day. Thank you!

Delivered as a trucker to BMC. Called on arrival and a forklift driver helped me to the dock. BMC was fast to unload and employees seemed friendly enough. I'd work with this reciever again.

Not only were they helpful in accomplishing my goal for a timely project, they also cut a custom piece and loaded it like it was on hold the whole time. Great place that I highly recommend.
