Great atmosphere and views but the service was really suspect. No one in the place and waited and waited to get seated. 3 tables full and still took a very very long time to put and order in. We bought a bottle of wine when we left but the same slow to seat hostess was on the phone with someone for 10 minutes, not seating someone again or taking us. A server had to come to the front. Put people who might be customers (on the phone) on hold for customers you have now! The charcuterie board was nice but please you just cut stuff up.

This place was a great find, while everywhere else was crowded we got seated right away at a window table with a gorgeous view of the Bay. We shared the flatbread pizza and shrimp with cheesy grits, and clam chowder soup to start. The wine selection was a nice local red.

What a fantastic place and experience. I spent a couple of peaceful last hours of my vacation here and couldn't believe my luck. A very welcoming atmosphere for a party of wine with a delicious selection of local wines. The view cannot be beat. A must do from the hustle and bustle outside or while others are enjoying the aquarium.

A must stop! Ask for monoculars and enjoy a glass of wine - they have an impressive selection of local wines - with a wonderful view. The flat bread with artichoke and chicken was good too 🙂

This place was so nice! I will 100% be going back. The views were unmatched! I watched the otters, birds, and waves while drinking an amazing local wine. Wonderful experience, and I left with four bottles of wine!

I've had the pleasure of sitting in the tasting room on 5 or 6 occasions and it is always superb. This time a visit to Monterrey was not possible so I decided to order my wines online. Happy Days! All my favorites wines from past visits are available and so I ordered on a Monday morning and they arrived Wednesday lunchtime. Whilst nothing beats sitting and then walking away with some wine, this brings a little memory of visits past and those yet to come.

Enjoyed a nice afternoon @ "A Taste of Monterey"! Whether you come for the food & wine, or just wonderful wines...make it a definite visit. I'm sure they can be busy (so check on a reservation), but we were lucky enough to walk right in. Attached is a view from our seats.
