I can't say enough about AHW in Libertyville. It is tough these days to find people who genuinely care about what they do and what the customer is trying to do. But they certainly do it here the right way. They recently worked on my D140 and got it back into tip top shape. She rides like a brand new mower now. Every time I call there everyone is friendly and willing to help. I've never had a bad experience. In particular, I would like to thank Tom in the Parts Department for all of his great work, communication and outstanding customer service.

I worked with Tom on the purchase of a used mower and was very pleased with his responsiveness and professionalism. Also the shop technicians were helpful in familiarizing me with the mower model. Overall good experience!

I have worked with this organization for many years and am not a contractor or worker who is an expert on tools/machines/blades/etc. The people at AHW are wonderful to work with, patient and honest. I refer all my friends and neighbors to them and ALWAYS get great feedback.
I had an old Deere Garden tractor which they helped me keep running at 27 years old. When i asked for a fix, they suggested it was not worth the time or $$ to repair. Not needing a fancy machine, i was talked ‘down’ to a lower coat model for my use. They delivered it the same day, helped me figure out the details and as expected, it’s perfect for my needs and property.
I recommend them to anyone plan on being a lifetime customer.
The cost may be a bit higher than the big box stores and it does not matter. They are ready to help and i will use them again!

I decided to drop by this shop instead of ordering online, and I’m glad I chose John Deere over a Cub Cadet. The shop is conveniently close to my house, so I can walk in and ask for help if needed. They installed my mulch kit and delivered my zero-turn mower within a couple of days. Skip ordering online and come here instead.

Don't by anything big that john deer makes you will never be able to pay enough to own ur own equipment. Just try to repair it on ur own you can't. It will be like buying a car and being forced to take it to the dealership every time u need to do anything. Not worth it at all.
