Customer can expect respectful guidance and full disclosure of what is solid gold vs gold plated. AND if you are a veteran you can receive a 10% discount. I loved stopping in and will be back! They have a huge selection of anything and everything and you're sure to find something for your collection. Most was out of my price range but that's a goal to have one day! The staff was super personable and I couldn't believe they just held out their hand and asked if I wanted to see something cool and set a $34,000 chunk of gold in my hand! I thought that was beyond cool and the fossils were way more money than I have to spend on a collectors item but I can dream!

We shopped at the Alaska Mint on Saturday the 27th of July. Kim and Chris helped us. We ended up buying a necklace for me and a ring for my husband. They were both so sweet to us. It was an enjoyable time. Thank you for helping us buy some beautiful piece. I got so many compliments on my necklace on ship. My hubby’s ring came in less than a week. Go there if you are ever in Anchorage. I hope to go back some day.

What an interesting and fun place to visit. Gunnar was of great help and great to talk to. They mint their own coins and medals in copper, brass, aluminum and silver on site. A walk back in time to see some of their estate items. Or just to pass time and learn more about the area. You should stop by as this is an Anchorage original, not to be missed. I’ll be back on my next stay and thanks again for the warm welcome and excellent service.

Chris & his wife were fantastic to work with at the Alaska Mint. I am extremely happy with my ring & I highly recommend them. If I ever get back to Anchorage, I will definitely go back & shop with them.
