This store was packed with goods when we went in - with both winter items (its January) and spring break stuff coming in. Not a lot of staff, but only two cars in the lot. Staff was helpful in pointing us to exactly what we wanted. Really an amazing selection.

Alvin's was very colorful inside and out. It is a fairly large store and is literally packed with all kinds of cool clothes jewelry, just about everything that says beach or vacation. My sister and boyfriend both bought several things. They said the guy at the cash register was helpful and friendly. I only seen one other person working. She was definitely not helpful or friendly. We asked her three times about help with some purchase items. She either didn't know or just blew us off. Definitely didn't need to be working there. The aisles are very closely packed so you can't hardly move without bumping into something. They have little signs throughout the store that say you break it you buy it. I can see why. They have a chain of these stores all throughout the coastal area. I am sure they cater to tourists and the spring break crowd. They did have a lot of really cool things. My boyfriend and I would have bought more but you couldn't get any help from the one worker and it was difficult to move between the aisles without bumping into something and all of us are of average height and weight. I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 for the reasons stated. Address is below of the one we went to.

If you buy something from there don’t expect any kind of refunds. We literally bought chairs and umbrellas and didn’t realize the condo we rented had everything for us. The chairs and everything are in original packaging never been used and within an hour they said no that they don’t do refunds. Even though it’s within the 7 days and in original packaging and in perfect condition. Very rude when asked.

Buyer beware! I went to checkout my items and Borissov was on his cellphone for 5 minutes. He was the only cashier and after I inquired again was he open did he answer me with, "Are you ready to check out?" I should have known not to enter when I seen bigotry paraphernalia outside of the building. Will not be shopping here again!

The staff were absolutely hateful. Asked a couple of simple questions about sale items and they acted like we were wasting their time. We wouldn't have bought anything if it had been 90% off. Be better!!!

My wife bought me a swimwear, i brought it back same day with all labels on it with a receipt, they didnt refund me, they say it is a policy, but that policy is not for such cases for sure, for used products, but they dont care

I visited the store while on vacation with my girlfriend. They were well-stocked and had so many different products that we ended up leaving with way more things than we intended to. We were surprised there were even stuffed animals from some games and shows we watch. All the employees were very friendly and said hello when we entered. My girlfriend wasn't sure which hat to get, so the manager showed us around and pointed out different ones until we found the right one. Really great experience and amazing staff. Will definitely return here next time we visit!

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM ALVINS! I have purchased multiple times from Alvins, but this will be my last. I purchased the wrong size kid's mask and snorkel kit. I wanted to get a refund so I could purchase a more expensive kit. It was unopened and sealed, yet they would not entertain the thought. In fact, they roll their eyes and give me that "O, another one of those exchange people" look and attitude change moments! They would not "under their exchange policy" refund the kit. They said it was a beach accessory; however, everything in that store could be considered a beach accessory! Needless to say, they lost an upgrade sale and any future purchases. I did get them to agree to an exchange for the correct size kit, but it was cheaper than the original.......my loss, but if it makes one person reconsider, my win!
