This place is a treasure trove of antiques! Another reviewer talked about the loud floorboards & no bathroom & overcrowding?! 🤣🤣 wood floor panels make noise sometimes, there’s restaurants all over with restrooms, and it’s overcrowded with TREASURES!!!

Antiques on the Avenue has all types of collectibles from a Fenton Iridescent Bunny to a vintage Mickey Mouse phone to an antique cane collection, there are beautiful finds plus the prices are not too wild . Employee was very sweet to me as first customer, wanna go back they have unique cookie jars & porcelain!

We came all the way from Tampa to shop here. Google maps says they are open till 5:30. It also says that on the front door. When we arrive they told us we had to leave because they close at 4:30. Very unprofessional. Maybe they have nice stuff, I’ll never know.

I tried coming here, during COVID-19, but the place was closed despite it listed online as 'open'. Finally arriving after pandemic, I realized it was only one room of antiques, no bathrooms, & creaky floorboards. Not only was it; overpriced, overheated, and overcrowded. (I also had to step over items to prevent knocking other items over.) I could barely see the cashier due to the amount of items in front of them. (Workers blended in and watched us the whole time.) Furthermore, most items weren't priced & workers were so stuck up that they wouldn't accept any offers. So I left. Really small and boring place overall.
Update/Edit: I like that the shop owner finally responded 2 months later like they actually care about the review.

This is a true, high quality antique store. You will find all kinds of wonderful treasures from paintings, pottery, crystal, fine glass, jewelry and more! Mr. Hudson is an expert in identifying and sharing his knowledge of all kinds of antiques! I highly recommend all antique lovers stop by to see! There is something for everyone!

The man cheated me out of a sterling silver antique bowl some years ago. I brought in my antiques for an appraisal...which wasn't free like most places. They charged $20. The man seemed waaay too interested in my silver bowl and told me he would waive the fee if i gave him the bowl. I reluctantly said sure if it's only worth $20. Well I found out later that silver was at about $40 an ounce at the time and the real value of the bowl was something like $150. Don't trust these people they will cheat you!
