We stopped by Ball Ground Hounds after visiting the gardens—just a random stop after seeing the sign, and I’m so glad we did! It was a great experience. The ladies working there were incredibly nice and welcoming.

Picked up a bison bone and some rabbit for Praline, and I love that they carry novel proteins—such a win for dogs with sensitivities. This is exactly the kind of local gem I love supporting.

This is an amazing local pet store. The selection is excellent! I was looking for some items for our dog, and I am very impressed about the knowledge and passion of the staff. No rush mentality, providing excellent and detailed and suggestions. The customer know that they are in good hands! I definitely highly recommend Ball Ground Hounds!

These people love their jobs and it shows. Absolutely a wonderful experience every time I visit. I have learned so much about my pets nutrition. They host events often for local charities and have a new self serve dog wash complete with anything you could need.
Dont walk just run there!

We recently moved to Canton and luckily we found Ball Ground Hounds. The store is great with a wonderful inventory but, what really makes this store great are the ladies that work there. Very friendly and helpful.

Bought this small size brown Chilly Dog sweater here when she was little thinking she was fully grown. Still fits BUT the new medium fits much better and allows for a little shrinkage since it is pure wool 100% hand knitted (see inside out pic) by descendants of Inca Indians in Peru. The new medium Chilly Dog brand grey one looks awesome on her.

Us & our entire canine pack love taking joyrides to Ball Ground Hounds! We frequent the store for all of our high value treats (and even some for our cat too). Our boarding & training students love coming in to select their favorite items as a reward for working hard.

We’ve had the pleasure of working alongside some of the owners/ staff members at local vendor events as well. We couldn’t brag on them enough! We love our friends at Ball Ground Hounds!

The amazing lady working recommended a horn for my golden because we had been using antlers and WOW. It is his favorite! So thankful for the kindness and recommendation. This place is a must go, even if you are passing by. I’ll be back! Thank you!!!! (We had a mattress blown up for some guest staying but it was his instead 😂)
