Attended an amazing 3-hour beginner's cake decorating class here. The instruction was perfect, the class was well-organized, and I was shocked by how beautiful a cake I was able to make (and take home) in just a few hours. Can't wait to attend more classes here!

So happy this baking supply store opened in my neighborhood! They have everything a baker/candy maker could need. Sprinkles, food colors (many brands), cocoa powders, flours, packaging, cookie cutters, candy molds, cake tins—you name it. For novice bakers or pros, this is a beautiful store that has what you need. If you were sad when Jane’s Cakes in LCF closed, you will be thrilled with this place. It is bigger, brighter and well organized. The owner managed Jane’s and knows what bakers want/need.

I'm so glad I found this wonderful place! Belen is SO knowledgable of whatever I needed for cake baking, decorating, candy/chocolate making, fondant, etc. It has everything you need!!!

Update to my original review: I recently attended their "Vintage Cake Decorating" class and LOVED it! I've been baking a minimally decorating for 50+ years and learned SO much! While it costs some and I was exhausted at completion, it was unbelievably worth it!!! I hope to take more classes there and I've attached a photo of the cake I made.

If you're in the Pasadena area, or even if you're not, take a class and support this great family-owned business. You'll be glad you did!

Bean & Butter is my go to for all my baking needs. I usually get my Chocolate, sprinkles, boxes, strawberry/banana emulsion and holiday supplies among other things. Quality is great. It is always nice and neat but the best is the customer service they provide. Always a welcoming environment. I love that I am greeted as soon as I walk in with a smile!

I took the private lesson buttercream class, and I enjoyed it very much. The instructor was very helpful with all her knowledge and encouraged me many times to ask if I have any questions. I admit I’m a shy person at times, but I learned some great tips about cakes and cake industry from the instructor as her welcoming vibes really made me feel comfortable. I followed this shop till it finally opened up and for about 2 years now I've been purchasing from them. Very satisfied and never have a problem. The drive isn't too far away from my house and if I can't drive out there I get my items shipped and they arrive so fast thank god. It's also the only place that I'm happy buying the silicon molds from had so many different kinds at a fare prices.the owner and employees are so nice, helpful and amazing.

If I could give 10 stars I would! I found this shop on Instagram & decided to make the 5.5 hour drive south to check them out. SO WORTH IT. They have everything a baker or treat maker would need, always stocked & clean. Their inventory is constantly changing with the seasons, everytime I’m in the LA area I make sure to visit. They also offer in person classes, which is not something you’ll find at any other craft or bake shop. They also have the best customer service! I’ve ordered online as well, I can’t believe how fast the shipping is. Keep up the great work!
