Bernards is the best spot in town for local grocery. Staples like produce, sundries, eggs, milk, meat and snacks are supplemented by a full coffee/tea bar and exotic treats like vegan pastries, duck prosciutto, neat chips from around the world, gochujang, fish cake, takoyaki, chili crisp, pork pate, oils, vinegars, and a ton of ramen!

Bernard’s is a new grocery store in Deland that also has really good coffee and tea. Centro Tea is located inside. They’re focusing on bringing food that’s rare to Deland and delicious. I’m sooo excited for the grand opening! Bonus: local, small businesses are featured in the shop.

Visiting from Tampa and this place is a gem! A mix of delicious pastries, organic teas, unique Asian snacks and treats, chocolate, assorted global gourmet items and more. There were also some lovely earrings and I seriously almost got some but I need to wear more of those I have already.

I had a tea latte with the vanilla infused earl grey (ambrosius?) with oat milk and it was so, so good. Probably the best earl grey I have ever had. I am picky about my tea and this did not disappoint. Also that strawberry-guava cake is divine. 🤌🏿 Please support this fantastic place. I am so glad we were able to visit!

Could not speak more highly of this place! Delicious coffee made quickly and tons of tea options. Lots of great food items you can’t get just anywhere. You can buy earrings and artwork and fresh produce and more! Staff is extremely courteous and knowledgeable and everything is clean and spotless. 10/10 recommend!

I want to leave two different reviews. First 5⭐️ on the shop as a whole, Super cool stuff and unique! 99.9% of the staff is great. However, my second review is a 1⭐️ Because of one employee. He works on Sundays (Male, blonde hair, and a septum piercing) He is absolutely rude, And seems annoyed when you Order a coffee. I asked If he knew when the tea would be restocked (they are out of my favorite) his response “I don’t know her schedule, so no”. He’s always rude, we visit the shop 2/3 times a week and I hate going if he’s there. Most times if I see him there I’ll leave.

Bernard's Market in DeLand is the most amazing and unique mini-market that you will find! Standard staples, but all types of interesting foods, snacks and treats from around the world. I love the "spicy chocolates" up by the counter 🙂 . My grandkids love the Twix candy bars is all sorts of interesting flavors (especially strawberry!). They have potato chips in flavors you have never seen before and are definitely going to want to try! Fresh Baked Goods, Gourmet Coffee and Teas! Wonderful Place to visit!

What a genuine treat to have Bernards just a short walk from home. I love your early morning opening for coffee in the patio. I know that there's more to come, but the shelves of offerings are already truly interesting and thoughtful. Welcome to the neighborhood !

Google is asking me a bunch of coffeehouse-related stuff because that is the primary category right now. Having visited earlier today, I’m not sure I agree with that. No matter. It’s a cool shop. No one needs the stuff that’s for sale here, but it is a cool place to browse and grab some novel stuff. I got some fancy canned tuna and kelp potato chips. I saw some canned CBD drinks there. Anyway, the people working there (a man with a cowboy-type hat and a fashion forward woman) are chill and did their best to answer my questions. There was a lot of empty shelf space when I visited, but the man who rang me up said they opened about a week ago, so that may change. Anyway, it’s worth taking a look if you’ve never been.
