We are your “typical” Floridians that talk about biking but never actually get out there! Two weeks ago we spent the weekend in Venice and decided to rent bicycles. The minute we got off, we drove straight to Bicycles International. Echo pointed out a bike for each of us, showed us what to look for in accessories. She wrote us up a quote and allowed us time to research and comparison shop.

This past weekend we drove back down (from Clearwater) and purchased all the above. The crew assembled the bikes to our order along with the vehicle rack. Put the rack on and demonstrated everything.

Since Saturday, we’ve put over 30 miles on each. LOVING, EVERY, MINUTE!

AMAZING experience all around, we will be back! Many thanks to all!

I'm an avid cyclist, was on vacation in Florida, but decided kind of late that I wanted to do some riding. I contacted Bicycles International and they luckily had a nice road bike available for rent.

Sean saved the bike for me over the phone, and I drove to the store. It was ready when I got there, and they even switched out the pedals to match my cycling shoes and cleats.

I got in some great rides on an economical, yet capable, well tuned and cared for bike. Return was as easy as pick-up.

Everyone there was so kind and made the process seamless, especially Sean. Made me feel as though I was part of the family. If I'm in need of another trusty two wheeled steed next time I'm in those parts, they'll be the first ones I call.

Just picked up my new Trek bike from Bicycles International in Venice, Florida. Wesley took great care of me and showed a lot of patience while I agonized over the purchase. My old Trek bike just didn’t survive the hurricane, so I had to get a new one. Not what I was expecting, but I’m so happy with my new bike.
Highly recommend this clean, well staffed, and well-stocked store.

The staff and service are absolutely the BEST. I’ve had my bike serviced at this shop for several years, and always had the most professional, efficient and personal treatment. Wes, Sophie, Echo, Attila and Tim were all involved recently when I had to replace my beloved Trek bike. They worked tirelessly to make sure I got the perfect bike for my needs. I live for my daily bike ride, and have this fantastic staff to thank for making it happen! They are an incomparable group!

Shawn was awesome. He spent a lot of time with me and my friend . We rapid fired many questions and he answered them all. We purchased a great TREK hybrid bike , step through. I highly recommend Shawn at BI. Sophie was also very helpful. We love our new bike
