I was initially excited to support a Haitian-owned salon and was happy with my first visit, where they did a decent job braiding my hair. However, my second visit was disappointing. When I asked for the price of a wash and braid, the stylist quoted $90, which was more than I paid last time. After I questioned the price, she reduced it, but a different stylist, who seemed to be a regular, suggested charging me more.

It was clear they didn’t realize I understood Creole, and overhearing their conversation made me uncomfortable. I decided not to return because of the unprofessional attitude and inconsistent pricing. It's important for any business to create a welcoming environment where staff are mindful of their words, as you never know who might understand them.

I hope the owner takes this feedback seriously and works on improving staff training and customer service. For me, it's not just about the price but the overall experience, and unfortunately, this one left me disappointed.

My experience there was EXCELLENT! The salon is beautiful and very neat. My family and I went there for Mani and Pedi and the service was great. Lorie and the new girl from Okap (I called her Mama) are great. They did an amazing job with our nails. The only negative thing I noticed was one of the hairdresser Carel that was a bit rude and denied my cousin services twice. I just think she needs more training on customer service and people skills. Other than that, it was GREAT! MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS THE OWNER! 🫶❤️🙏

Hi, I really don’t like leaving reviews however, I can’t get in touch with anyone. I placed an order and never received my order. I placed my order December 2nd of 2023 .. a label was created December 9th of 2023. it is now December 19th and all I get is a Pre-shipment shipping label created USPS awaiting item.

I try to support all Haitian business, but unfortunately, I see our people are not ready or prepared to provide excellent customer service. I contacted the studio two weeks ago to set up the appointment for my hair & make up and also paid the deposit of $100 like requested. The day of my appointment the stylist was not only late, but her service was horrible. Not only the young lady Maria showed up late but she was also not professional at all. The chair that they sitted me in was soaked & wet. After she washed my hair their was no towel to put around my neck, my whole shirt was wet. The cleaning in the back was horrible. I ended bleaching my hair because the wig I wanted, they did not have. Maria put bleach in my hair which resulted to the color I had prior. Then, when she realized the color was not taken . She had me sit for 30mins to purchase another bleach that ended burning my scalp. I had to get it removed right. I still had Maria proceed with the makeup although I was not happy with the bleach. The makeup was even worst. My lashes was put in incorrectly and the makeup was cheap. Felt cheap. She made me look horrible. She made my eyes smaller. My face was looking wrinkle due to bad makeup. Lipstick was dry and cheap. Before putting the review, I tried calling the store several times. No answer at all. I was very disappointed, Beautiful beauty salonw, but the service is horrible.

I love the services Blondedy welcome you by the time you open the door she already greeting you a welcome smile I'm so glad I went to her studio when I called her asked if they take walk in she said yes bb.
