My friend told me about Blue Bottle Coffee. We went to the one I believe at Berkeley, but decided not to get one since I’m not in a mood of coffee. Today, I decided to get one at Stanford Mall.

The place is small, but looks nice inside. I heard that this place serves overpriced items and they quite do. I tried their foods, but the food items were quite smaller and lower qualities and seemingly costs higher than bigger ones I see in typical cafes. Cappuccino is alright, but found no reason to be more expensive.

I guess that this place is a good if you want to simply stop by and get coffee, but I think there are other options around the mall where you can get the same qualities of the foods with cheaper prices.

The coffee store I visited recently left a lasting impression on me with its exceptional cappuccinos. The quality of their cappuccinos stood out, making it a delightful experience for any coffee lover. The smooth and velvety texture of the steamed milk combined with the perfectly balanced espresso resulted in a heavenly cup of cappuccino.

Apart from the exceptional cappuccinos, the ambiance of the store was inviting and cozy, creating a pleasant atmosphere for enjoying a cup of coffee. The staff was knowledgeable and passionate about their craft, adding to the overall positive experience.

In addition to the outstanding cappuccinos, the store offered a diverse range of coffee options to cater to different tastes. The menu featured a variety of flavors and brew methods, ensuring there was something for everyone.

Overall, this coffee store's dedication to crafting remarkable cappuccinos, combined with its cozy ambiance and knowledgeable staff, sets it apart from the rest. If you're a cappuccino enthusiast, this place is a must-visit.

My matcha latte was so delicious, and really strong. They also gave me a free sample of instant coffee! Lots of seating, and really friendly baristas.

This is a regular blue bottle café with, as usual, great coffee. The place is not amazing to sit at or work at because there aren’t a lot of tables around. So this is mainly a place where you grab a coffee and walk through the rest of the shopping center. For that purpose, it’s great.

At the fringes of the shopping center facing one of the parking lots is this small BBC outlet. Due to its high foot traffic for coffee purchases and its relatively outlying location it isnt the best place for a relaxing meal but rather suitable for a quick meetup or informal meetings. Its location and small size is definitely it biggest drawback while still maintaining good coffee quality.

I’m on a trip to Stanford and went to the blue bottle for a morning coffee. I ordered two cups of latte but the cashier repeated my order in a mocking and arrogant tone “one latte, one hot latte”. Then, she started laughing with her colleagues. I didn’t know what I did wrong and felt quite offended. I know my English may sounds not that good but this is the very first time I faced situation like this. After that, I mistakenly heard my name was called and tried to get the cafe on the counter. The barista stared at me and said “ this is not your coffee” in the same way the cashier said. To be honest, I felt so embarrassed and bad. I asked my friend who is traveling with me and witnessed the incident if I was overthinking but she told me that she also felt a bit offended. I always choose blue bottle cafe but this time, my experience here was definitely not as good as before. I don’t think I will go to any blue bottle cafe after if the barista or cashier still treat me in this horrible way.

Update:

Wrote an email according to what the reply said but no one replied… Disappointed

Smaller version of the Blue Bottle on University, but equally great coffee and liege waffles (yum!). The ambiance is clean and sleek, and the service is fast and nice.

The avocado toast was also super fresh, a little more on the citric side, but the seeded toast itself was delicious.

They also offer alternative milks like Oat (Oatly), almond and soy milks.

0 Star if I have a choice. Ordered an ice latte. I waited 40 minutes for my order. As soon as I tasted the latte I know they didn't add coffee in it. I waited another 10 minutes to talk to someone about the issue and they wanted to charge me $2 for extra coffee.... I asked them to remake the latte and the order was meesed up again... Totally ruined our Sunday morning
