Visited today to buy chairs & umbrella….. chairs were priced at $50 each and there was a sign for a 20% discount. When we rang out the chairā€˜s rang up $65 each, we asked for the discount that was posted but Petra said her employees made a mistake when they tagged the chairs and the price was really $65 each . Petra , the manager, refused to honor the advertised price.
In the end she did give us a total $10 discount on our purchase like that was doing us a favor. All we were asking was for the 20% discount off the posted price of the chairs. She said she couldn’t help it if her employee had tagged them wrong….
We visit St Pete’s Beach every year but will stay away from this store and their false advertising.

Not a very good experience prices are ok but they had one particular employee following me through the store, which I’m ok with employees keeping an eye on shoppers but when you concentrate on one person that’s were I have a big problem. My wife and I have good jobs professional, not because we look different you have to threaten us different. Sad world with life in. Don’t judge the book by it cover.

Horrible place! This is the worst store ever! We were 4 adults (in 50s and 40s) and 4 teens. They followed us around the store, like hawks, which should have been a lead off to how they were going to be. My niece tried on a sweatshirt, and they went and inspected it and claimed her make up was on it. Which it was not. They were insisting that she buy the shirt and made a big fuss. They were very rude, and we will never be returning to a store like this one again. We have a family member that owns her own storefront, we know that things like this would be covered by insurance, even if my niece had put make up on the neck of a shirt. This place is looking for ways to make money because no one wants to buy any of their products or deal with such rude employees. I would give this place negative 10 stars if I could.

The staff was pretty rude. I don’t know if we came in on an off day or what but more than once and by more than one staff member myself and my family were spoken to in a rude or condescending way. On the plus side, the prices are a little less than the other beach wear / souvenir shops. I know they are a big chain but customer service still counts for something.

I tried calling corporate in Miami to make this complaint instead of publicly posting. Someone took my name and number after I told the story, saying Nancy would call me back, but no one has. After seeing other reviews with similar complaints of feeling targeted I hope someone at the top sees this and actually addresses the customer service problem at this location. Yesterday I was shopping at Breeza on St Pete Beach. An employee let me try on a few items. I liked a couple so picked out several other similar items to try on. While walking around with a handful of clothes another employee stopped me and said I can’t try the clothes on because I came from the beach, are wet and wearing sunblock. I said you can feel my clothes, I’m dry and haven’t been in the water for hours. It was the pool not the beach. And the sunblock was several hours old. You can still see it on me because I’m dark skinned. We went back and forth because she kept insisting I can’t try clothes on with sunblock. I showed her the black items I had already tried on that had no stains on them. She kept insisting and was talking fairly loudly while walking away, which hurt my feelings and made me feel embarrassed. I wanted to say more, but I don’t like confrontation so I put the clothes down and left. I tried to address this discreetly by calling corporate today, but since no one called me back, I’m dropping this here and moving on. This store cannot expect to apply a policy like that fairly without targeting dark skinned people. Sunblock isn’t visible on my friends with very white pale skin. So how are you going to have a policy of stopping people from trying on clothes when you can see the sunblock, but not stop those if you can’t? You have to either not let people try the clothes on at all or let everyone try them on, otherwise you’re opening yourself up for a discrimination lawsuit. I don’t feel like it was a racial thing. The first and second employees were also ethnic women, like myself. The first that let me try on the clothes was dark skinned like me. The second was fair skinned. I don’t think she meant it to come across racist because my mom is fair skinned and often says things that indicate she doesn’t understand the experiences of dark skinned women. But the fact that the dark skinned woman allowed me to try on clothes, whereas the light skinned woman did not, just made me feel bad. I don’t think I’m being overly sensitive in this situation. I understand a store not wanting their clothes to be stained with white, but you cannot only target those you can visibly see sunblock on. You are going to end up letting fair skinned people try on clothes and stop people with a lot of pigment. I’ve been shopping at this location on and off for 30 years, since it was called Wings. I’ve spent a lot of money there and planned on dropping at least $100 last night. Obviously I will never go there again, which makes me sad because it’s always been nostalgic for me. I grew up on the beach so have spent many many days shopping for beachwear after a pool day or beach day, at many different stores. This has never happened to me anywhere else. A couple times I have been to a store that had signs up that you can’t try on clothes at the store, but if there are signs then it clearly applies to everyone, so that’s fair. This store location is not treating customers fairly.

Friendly and very helpful owner Patricia. My friend wanted one of the lifeguard crop tops but they didn’t have any in her size so Patricia made her one. Great prices and quality. - sorry for the not so clear pics but this is what it looks like
