Always rude right off the bat. Even if you pay your bill on the last day listed on the paper bill, they will shut your water off the day before. Then charge you damn near what your water bill was just to turn it back on, on TOP of your bill. And trust they are in NO rush to get your water turned back on. Horrible office, horrible customer service.

The city of Brooksville is nothing but a racket. My water bill is $72 every month for less then 1k worth of water use. I lived off Star Rd before this and paid $15 a month for using over 2k gallons of water. I have paid more then a years worth of water bills there in two months here. When you go to start your account they also charge you over $6 dollars to run your card. This city is crooked as can be. Millions on a bridge for foot traffic that doesn't exist yet the water company can fail their inspections tell you months later and still charge 4 times as much as it really costs to get water to you.

This water company is a joke.. I have had water with this company since 2017 and my bill has never been over $80/$85. I recently disconnected service on 4/3/2023 due to moving to a different area. I explained that the phone call was being recorded and went on to ask how much my last bill will be in which I was told $80.17. Today I received a postcard in the mail stating that my bill is $216.08 which is absolutely ridiculous. So I called again inquiring about the amount and again I stated that I recorded my last call. So I was asked if the current call was being recorded in which I stated yes then I was asked to hold. After holding for a couple minutes I was told that she doesn't consent to being recorded and I have to email them with my concerns. Please be aware of the extra fees they add on your bill when you disconnect your service.

I would give negative reviews if I could! Terrible customer service. Had them for a year and a half. Payment portal never works to make your payment the day its due. I paid a 150 deposit to start services. My monthly bill was charging me for water and trash plus I paid a second trash bill with my community but for some reason but still had to pay it twice. My bill was usually 70 dollars a month then the last few months jumped up to 110 and they blamed it on my home although there is constant water main breaks in the area. Water was shut off every other week with boil water notices sent out. We canceled our service because we moved into our new house. I called end of January to shut off services. Then they send me a final bill and say I still owe 60 dollars after my final bill was deducted from my 150 deposit. Tried to talk to customer service and manager and they keep telling me "that's just what I owe". I leave the property 1-31 but still have a bill come due in March? They will take your money and pocket it!

Can not believe the way they treat people. I called because I paid a attempt to clean 25.00 and they cut my water off the next day ! Call them oh that was a mistake. Then they send a bill , I pay it the day I received it. 2days later get a different bill , and disregard the other and past this bill. 99.37 temp to clean charge. Call them back. Said that’s the bill I said no I paid 25.00 twice to clean. She said that’s usage charge I said to mix tile grout and mop. No one lives there ! Anyway gave up because it was really making me angry. Where are the people that were there before. They were so nice ! Ugggg

In the age of technology, where bill pay should be easy online. It is not. The website never works which results in us having to pay a late fee every single time, because we have to take time off from work or leave work early to go down to pay the bill in person before they shut the water off.

So now they don’t take payments over the phone and the website is constantly down so I’m being charged late fees by no fault of my own. When they did take payments over the phone I was rushed off of the phone when I had more questions or I was hung up on because they’re “way too busy”. Then they close for lunch? You work less than 9 hours I shouldn’t have to wait for you to eat a burger. Pack some ritz. Over it.

The website is always down. When you call and have concern’s about billing they are so rude I don’t get why the girls here work for a water company and they are miserable if you don’t like your job get a new one. Melissa is the manger and she is just as awful as the rest so rude for no reason you could be so nice and still the worst customer service I have ever received if I could go through another water company I would I had to speak to Melissa boss just to get things straighten out his name was Jermey and he was the only one with great customer service it’s so sad that we as citizens to the community have to deal with it with such rude people that work for our county…..
