I can’t believe the way my appointment went with Emily at Calvet couture this past week. It exceeded my expectations all around and Emily made me feel so comfortable and confident. This was my very first dress appointment ever scheduled and my last because it was so wonderful. I canceled all future appointments elsewhere because I found the perfect dress here at CC. Emily was so organic about helping me choose the dresses I wanted to try, she was patient and caring. I loved her input and calm presence. The fact that we had the entire studio to ourselves was amazing and appreciated. I felt so lucky and special. I was never rushed, pushed or pressured. Emily popped champagne for us to take in the moment and have a good mom and daughter cry alone together. My mom and I haven’t stopped thinking about how smooth this day went and I’m still in stock that my dream dress was found in an hour with Emily’s help. I will forever remember this day as a beautiful experience start to finish and can’t wait to wear my dress in October. I’ll always rave about Calvet, Emily and my overall experience as a bride to be 🤍 thank you for making my dreams come true

At first, my experience seemed great. The place is beautiful and by appointment only so we had the whole place to ourselves.
I felt kind of rushed. The consultant wasn’t super friendly. I initially booked because of a trunk show, but was never presented any of those designers dresses.
It was my very first time trying on dresses and I felt like I had to make a decision that day, I agreed upon a strapless dress that was paired with a topper in store Because I really wanted sleeves and coverage.
I was told it would be so easy to find a topper elsewhere so we purchased the strapless dress.
I really regret Purchasing a dress when I didn’t even want strapless, Finding a topper that looks good has been a nightmare, I’ve also had two buttons already fall off the back, once as I was actually trying on the dress when I was picking it up (They shrugged their shoulders, gave me the button and said give it to a seamstress) and the second Time a button fell off was With the seamstress. It’s not even my wedding and I’m sure there’s going to be buttons missing by the end of the night.
I have since tried calling the storefront about four times with no answer.
I Hardly believe the dress was made to order, (Maybe because they told me it would take up to four months and it took about one month) It is just a standard Size that was probably already sitting in their back room.
I sent an email and they obviously refused to refund or accept the dress back as a return.
So now being very close to my wedding and having a dress I deeply regret buying I do not recommend Calvert couture mostly because they do not care.

AMAZING. FANTASTIC. INCREDIBLE. My experience dress shopping at Calvet Couture Bridal in Sarasota, FL was perfect and memorable! I went in thinking I knew exactly what I dress I wanted, but was glad that I was encouraged to try on others, because if I I hadn’t I wouldn’t have found my perfect dress!! Erica at the Sarasota location is incredible, kind and has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to wedding dresses and any questions you might have. If I could go back to play dress up for a day with her again I would! Make sure you call Erica! You won’t regret it!

Went to quite a few different places to find my dress, so you’d think making a decision was hard. But solely because Erica at Calvet Couture, there was no hesitation on returning to buy my dress from her. She is the sweetest and kindest person I’ve met in the industry. Erica was so helpful and the best bridal consultant I could have asked for! She was super encouraging and helped me narrow down to my perfect dress. She asked specific questions about how I was feeling in each dress so I could get to that dream dress with her help! She also pulled great choices for me based on my curvy size that made me feel really good. This was the first time I went to try on dresses and because of Erica I was able to walk away with exactly what I wanted and couldn’t be happier! AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!! I live in Texas and was in Sarasota last week visiting family (July 6, 2023). I was shopping around for wedding dresses and was having a hard time finding a dress I felt confident in. My sister found a last minute appointment at Calvet Couture the Friday morning before I left. Believe me when I say do not walk, but RUN to this store to find your dream dress. The level of professionalism, confidence, and comfortability shown by my consultant, Olivia, was something every bride could dream of. She made the experience so incredible and even more exciting than it already was. At the beginning, she asked what I was looking for and we went around the store to pull dresses together. She is knowledgeable, transparent, and is willing to work with you to meet your needs/requirements for a dress. 10/10 would recommend.

I had such an amazing experience here. ❤️ I went to multiple bridal shops and the experience I had here with Erica and Olivia was unparalleled! I felt super comfortable and listened to and ended up finding my perfect dress! I was worried about not being able to find a dress so close to my wedding date but Erica really stepped up and did her research and showed me everything that would be able to come in on time or samples I could take home same day. The selection of dresses (even for someone who needs to find a dress quick!) is very diverse. I did not feel overwhelmed or discouraged at all.
