Came in a few weeks ago because of a light on, Alex let me come in early to run a diagnostic test & he was very helpful! Unfortunately he doesn’t work on airbags otherwise I would’ve been happy to work with him. Highly recommend!

Alex gave me the best price in the Brandon/Valrico area for transmission replacement on my Nissan Altima. Not only was the transmission replace but it was programmed and included the alignment unbeatable price had to tow it to him after hours and car drop box made a smooth convenient drop off. He was able to get transmission replaced in 72hrs and included a 3year warranty from the dealership no used parts but brand new OEM. However, I brought the vehicle in for a transmission replacement and I have no clue why he messed with my air conditioning.Especially when it worked just fine before, I brought it to him. He admitted to releasing air out of it and recommended me to get that service done however, I recently placed A/C pro a/c recharge to my car and it was nice and cold. After just spending 3800.00 dollars on a new transmission my pockets were not looking to have to recharge my air conditioning again. Certified Transmission started off with great intentions but had no business touching further areas of my car. The transmission is working wonderful but beware of dishonest additional up services. I do recommend him only who for a CVT transmission replacement but beware of potential deceptive practices it will cost you more down the road. Very disappointed as I almost thought I found an honest mechanic.

My wife and I had a great experience with Certified Transmission. My contact was Alex who we very up front and knowledgeable about options. I called around to at least 10 different places and they were by far the best in service and price. We got a salvaged transmission with 12/12 plan. We had a choice to either pay for a new transmission from Ford and wait 1-2 months for a range of $4500 to $6500 or pay less than $2500 for a salvaged transmission with 12 months or 12,000 miles. In todays market when you own a car outright and can get the same amount you paid or more with the current supply issues for trading it in; it made perfect sense to get a salvaged transmission. Alex was very patient with me help make me comfortable. No one wants to pay $1000s for anything but at least I am gambling with less then $2500 as opposed to $6500. Thanks again to Alex and his team. Great place, great service, and great knowledge.

Super fair prices. I shopped around to fix AC in Honda Pilot. Father in law told me to check them out. So glad I listened to him all other places where extremely $$$$$. This place was a good amount less. Polite, greatly priced and fast service. Will recommend to whomever needs work done on car.

Certified Transmission in Brandon at the corner of 60 and Lithia Pinecrest are operating a shady business.

We took our car in for AC issues. When we got there to pick it up the battery had died (clock was six hours off), the dashboard lights were unplugged (Christian Brothers found this when we took it to them to fix the issues Certified created), the check engine light was on (they cleared without telling me codes) and the TPMS has completely stopped working (two garages can't find out why)

He then tells me all of this was broke when we brought it in and gives me a nasty attitude. Alex and his business cannot be trusted.
