Today, I went to the Chanel boutique at Neiman Marcus Palo Alto to try on some clothes. When I walked into the store, I was completely ignored—there was no greeting at all. Then, a man who claimed to be the ready-to-wear manager assisted me, but he was extremely arrogant and rude. He kept emphasizing that he was the manager.

I was interested in a bag and wanted to compare the small and mini sizes, but he dismissively said, “This is a classic style,” with a condescending attitude. Later, when I tried on a jacket, he asked me who my SA was. When I told him the name, he said he didn’t recognize it.

Then, I showed him on my phone, and he asked if he could take a picture of it. Before I even had the chance to respond, he had already taken the photo without my permission. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable and that my privacy had been violated.

The entire shopping experience was unpleasant and frustrating. Is this really the kind of attitude a Chanel manager should have?

Bought my first Chanel bag ever as my birthday gift to myself here in March! I bought a black mini flap bag with top handle. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. They didn’t have any mini rectangular bags when I first went in but I got the number of the SA, Julian, who was helping me. About 3 weeks later, I got the text and went to the store super early the next day to make sure I can get my bag! And I got it! I know it’s so hard to get. I’m super happy and excited to finally get this bag thanks to my SA.

We came in today looking for coco handle mini and mini class handle, even the store didn't have them, the store manager _ Chung is very friendly and helped us out and warmly welcome us. Will definitely buy from this location as they offer 5 star professional service.

The middle-aged Asian women are very rude. My sister and I went shopping for Mother's Day gifts on the afternoon of 5/11. She didn't give us any help. They just kept telling us to go to other stores to buy them. After that, she served other customers with a much different attitude. I don't understand how such a person can be a sales. I don’t want to come back here again because of this experience.

The mid-aged asian lady with short hair are very rude. Didn't give me any help. She said she didn't have any of the items I asked about. And told me to buy online or go to other places to buy. She then hosted another people.The attitude is very different. It makes me feel like I'm being discriminated against.

My second visit there is worse than the first visit. One of the sales is too pushy to persuade me to buy the bag. Honestly I originally plan to buy the bag but I don’t feel so after the sales’ constant persuasion. Not sure if the same sales mentioned in other comments.

I went to the store td and the gentleman told me the mall closes at 7pm but Channel closes at 6:30pm. I went there cuz Google map says it is until 7pm
