Great store and friendly staff. Prices are unbeatable. The price tag on the shelf is the price and add 10%. So it's very easy to figure out how much you're spending.

I went today for the first time since it was an IGA years ago. Yes, there is a mark up but I still think I saved on the few items I bought. I found some brands I grew up with in TN that I have not been able to find anywhere else in Dothan. I did not buy meat but perused it and it looked fresh and priced competitively. I also bought a few items of their brand to see if I like them. I did not notice the store being dirty like others have said. Cashier not out and out rude but very unfriendly.. like I had to force conversation. The owner/manager (I assume) did not speak but was talking to others I feel are regulars. If I owned a store I would make SURE to speak to those I did NOT recognize. Anyway, I didn’t stop there to check their personalities! I WILL shop there again. I love small stores!

I purchase items sometimes because it's close to my house but I don't shop there i e. I don't use a shopping cart there is a 10 percent mark up on every item and you still pay state and local taxes at the register making it more expensive to shop there than a traditional grocery store if more people were aware of this they probably wouldn't shop there.

Small store with limited varieties of food products & produce !!
Also they charge a 10% surcharge on all purchases not including sales tax which is also taken out for a whopping 19% total taken at checkout !
