The sensor on the pump wasn’t working, and gas started squirting everywhere as my tank overfilled. It spilled onto the ground, my hands, arms, shoes, and all over my car. I nearly slipped on the mess. When I went inside to report it, the store clerk casually mentioned that they knew the sensor probably wasn’t working but hadn’t bothered to put a sign on the pump. They offered no refund or discount for the excess gas I didn’t need. I had to use a towel to remove some gas because I couldn’t even close the fuel cap without more spilling out.

This is unacceptable and potentially violates several California regulations:
• Fuel Pump Maintenance (California Code of Regulations, Title 4, Division 9): Gas stations are required to maintain pumps to ensure safe operation. A malfunctioning pump with no warning signage is a safety hazard.
• Hazardous Materials Handling (California Health and Safety Code, Division 20): Gasoline spills must be cleaned immediately to prevent harm and accidents. Leaving a slippery, hazardous floor poses a serious safety risk.
• Consumer Protection (California Business and Professions Code, Section 17200): Allowing customers to use a faulty pump without warning could be considered an unfair or deceptive practice.

The staff left the floor slippery and seemed completely indifferent to the safety and financial consequences of this situation. Proper maintenance, signage, and cleanup procedures are critical, and this gas station failed on all fronts.

First time visiting this Chevron location. I will never visit again.

Placed credit card in pump. Nothing. Pushed "Help" button, nothing.

I walked into the nearby mini Mart of a different name simply to ask if the Chevron station was open. A condescending, very unappealing young woman was behind the counter.

She (Ruth per the receipt) said, " If the credit card didn't work the first time, it's obvious you should know to come in." I said, "How would I know to come in a Mini Mart not named Chevron?"

She repeated that I it was obvious I should have known to come into the Mini Mart...". I feel sorry for anyone that lives with or must associate with this woman on a consistent basis. At least I have the choice to never visit this establishment again.

Dont sell lottery tickets if u cant even give the cash back when we win. Ive come here 2x already to cash out my winning lottery tickets and 2x the women behind the counter says she cant scan the ticket cuz the machine isnt working. When i asked her to type it in she said she doesnt know how. Really? Wow maybe train your employee on how to type in numbers on a machine. Pathetic

Very nice and courteous lady who was working at your evening shift. As a truck driver I travel and deliver all over USA and sometimes we have to park the semi randomly near the delivery location which are under construction motels and restaurants. So I had to use the restroom and park my truck for sometime. The lady on duty was so courteous and empathetic that she let me use restroom and answered all my queries about the area in a nice manner. Good bless her and the place was clean and well managed . Good luck 🍀 and in the end a message for the owner .. This lady deserves a raise 😊

I came in a few months back for a quick gas/snack break and there was a young kid at the register named Erick that helped me. He was a real gem! Engaged, complimentary and kind. Not your typical experience you sometimes get a quick stops. I hope he goes far!!

Their customer service toward people of color is horrendous!! The lady there during the day never speaks to me or my co-worker, I believe her name is Veronica and she is a manager (black and Hispanic women) and she was rude to my husband on numerous occasions. She even had the audacity to suggest that he go to another gas station down the street when he said that her customer service was terrible! They are racist and I'm reporting them immediately!!
