First we have a 32/30 plan, then a changed billing cycle, and now City Council raises water rates by 7 percent. Additionally, residential garbage rates have increased to $21.55, tax not included. The rates are untenable and changes are needed to restore balance and fairness in the water rates.

I had a horrible experience with them today. I called them when I purchased a new house at the end of July and I thought they had everything set up and the employee said I was "good to go". I had water for 2 weeks then they randomly shut it off. Then when I called and asked I was told rudely that I had to pay a $100 fee to get it turned back on later that day. I spoke with the manager too and she said the same thing. Neither one of them understood or cared about the inconvenience it caused my family and I. $100 fee is ridiculous! So we're without water! Thanks a lot! Terrible experience!!

New trash company is lazy as they come!! I have a family of 5 and your trash cans only hold maybe 3 bags of trash. I can fill on bag of trash in one night of cooking dinner. I called to see about getting an additional trash can and was told I would have to pay an additional $9 something a month. i am already paying for trash pick up. It should not be limited....

The autopay doesn't work. I had to pay penalty once because the autopay skipped the payment and once I received bill for 2 months because I missed payment because of Autopay. it will show you that you're enrolled in autopay and still miss a payment. And also everytime I have to enter my credit card info since it doesn't save your last payment source.

Called Pearland about a potential meter leak. Within the hour Fernando showed up, did a thorough investigation. Took the time to explain to me his findings and what work will be done. Excellent customer service. Which is almost obselete these days.

Considering there aren’t many reviews on here I have to speak from my own personal experience with them! They are amazing!!! From the hardworking staff out in the field (Fernando)to the people in the office (Chris)who handle all the day to day tasks! I am proud to live here in Pearland which I am not originally from! This city takes great care of the people in it and I cannot say enough!!! Thanks for doing all you do!!!!

For those leaving negative reviews about billing....that's not part of Public Works, two completely different departments in two completely different parts of town. Public Works has nothing to do with water billing issues.
