I took the all women’s AR class at collectable arms and we had a blast. I highly recommend that if your wife, daughter, or sister is interested in a firearm to have them take the class. My husband built me an AR for Mother’s Day and I wanted to take this class to feel more comfortable with it.

I actually hate online review culture since you get a super limited snapshot of a retailers day- Or you’re getting A curated picture that doesn’t accurately reflects the organization as a whole.

I wasn’t gonna write a review originally, but the more that time passes- the deeper my experience here stuck.

There’s a certain quality inherent to this place that would be damn near impossible to articulate in something like this- so I’d recommend you just go here- even without Anything in mind.

I’ve known, and have done business with a ton of different types of FFL’s. They run the gamut of credibility, ethics, sanity, etc. The problem with hobbies like guns/building guns is there is absolutely a knowledge barrier and it’s often times populated by people who will learn a few buzz words and fancy themselves qualified to teach others. It can also be somewhat people just starting out.

I was fortunate to just over hear dialogue between what I presume, to be the owner and what I presume to be frequent customers. What struck me was the fluidity of, and the depth of knowledge clearly demonstrated both in the technical aspects and cultural aspects for the world of guns/gun parts. There was both a level of candor and honesty mixed with a true appreciation for the craft. There was a very sincere feeling that the presumed owner loved nothing more than Showcasing this world from a standpoint of technical appreciation.

I found his pricing structure to be somewhat confusing, however-as it seems like nearly everything in the store was a loss leader- not that I’m complaining. If I were to Guess-I think a lot of his bills are paid via ammo sales; however, for the builder/potential builder and Hunter, this place is a playground where everything was almost suspiciously on point (pricing wise)

I mean, he had literally everything I could imagine for a myriad type of builds; super high-quality stuff, too, and some middle of the road offerings at a very reasonable price point accessible to all-I did not see any “known offenders“ of poor quality.

For real had no intention of spending a dime-except he just happened to have a very specific BCG that I had debated on getting for some months and had it priced $10 cheaper than what I last remember seeing it at online. I would say he got my ass good, But that would imply that there was some dishonest tactic/manipulation use-which nothing could be further from the case.

I think the wildest thing that’s stuck with me and the real reason for review is I made a comment about how difficult it was to find specific roll pins/retention pins that all of us have lost hundreds of times; and he just happened to have Single roll pins of varying sizes up for sale-
and he hits me with “well I try to ask, is there anything you wanted that you didn’t see here that you’d like us to have?”

I’m super jaded, Working a hard job that destroys my faith in my fellow man- but man the sincerity in his voice to service his community, neighbors, all of us- I don’t know- it just did something. It’s clearly a guy who understands implicitly what he sells- has used nearly everything in store- but isn’t too proud to admit if there’s somebody’s more knowledgeable to serve the customer in front of him.

If your grandmother wanted to build high end ARs, and didn’t know where to start- I would stop at nothing to make sure she patroned this store.

I don’t think I could morally use another FFL again- and will be stopping by every opportunity I get to watch this guy be the epitome of “hometown hero small business”.

Ray is super knowledgeable on everything he has in the shop, and Fred is a great instructor as well as very knowledgeable on the laws and what you can and CANNOT do. I highly recommend taking your CCW class here and if you're in the market for a new gun you would be doing yourself a disservice by not stopping in and checking the shop out. 10/10 highly recommend!

Stop in for primers and found this gem of a spot. Gave us a great deal on some primers for our muzzleloaders. Discovered they had a nice selection of guns and Ammo and will be return customers for our gun needs.

Great customer service, took care of everything I needed when I came in. New shotgun, long range antennas for vhf radio, Garmin products, the whole 9 yards when it comes to anything electronics for dog hunting. If he doesn’t have it, I bet you he can get it!
