After visiting the RiverQuarium in Albany, GA, we decided to stop by Cool Scoops, and I’m so glad we did! It’s just a quick walk across the street, making it a perfect spot to cool down—or warm up in spirit. Even though it was a cold day, they were still open, proving that ice cream is a treat for any weather. Who says you can’t have ice cream on a chilly day?

The ice cream was absolutely delicious—red velvet cake and banana pudding flavors were the standouts for me. You can really taste the care they put into their creations. The gentleman who made our cones was super helpful and friendly, which added to the experience. He made great recommendations, and his warm attitude made us feel welcome. On top of that, the portions were extremely generous, giving you great value for the price.

I always stop by after visiting the aquarium across the road. The staff are super friendly and patient even with indecisive kids. The kids love the ice cream! You can eat inside or outside of the store. There's also a nice park nearby. Great location.

Cool Scoops is the sweetest spot in town! Michael couldn’t be nicer or more helpful—he really goes the extra mile to make your visit special. The atmosphere is adorable and perfect for the kiddos, with all the charm you'd want for a family outing. And don’t even get me started on the Nathan’s hot dogs—pairs great with a few scoops of ice cream all the toppings you could dream of!

The location is perfect too—right by the river, so you can swing by for a delicious scoop after a warm ride. We’ve made Cool Scoops a regular family stop, and I can’t recommend it enough to anyone in search of the best ice cream around!"

We love Cool Scoops! 🙌🏻 Mr Mike is so friendly and welcoming you can’t help but visit over and over! They serve such generous scoops that I only made the mistake of ordering a double scoop one time!! 😆 They have indoor seating, but also have well shaded picnic tables out front too!!

We came in from Ohio for our parents graduation and went to the aquarium the day after, so we stopped to cool down with some ice cream. Mr Mike was very nice and accommodating, he was funny and was patient with us, because we were about 16 people, including kids. Kudos and great customer service. Thanks again, for delicious ice cream and laughs.

Mr. Michael was amazing. Hands down the best customer service I’ve experienced during a downtown visit. He went out of his way to make my food and even provided more than paid for: Honey he made that hot dog with LOVE. Please go see him at Cool Scoops asap. Definitely an experience
