We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon because the reviews were pretty good and the only other places open were McDonald’s and BK. We ordered a 1/2 rack of ribs and sliced meat with ham plates. The sides were coleslaw and potato salad with texas toast. The meat was so dry he only ate one bite the ham steak was pretty good the texas toast was just a piece of white bread. I had the half rack of ribs with home made coleslaw with potato salad. The ribs must have been from Friday because they were dried out and dried out crispy I ate one and gnawed on a second one made it half way through and put it back on my plate. Left the rest of the ribs on the plate after looking at them all, same dried out ribs. The homemade coleslaw was ok potato salad was ok. The girls refunded the rib plate after looking at uneaten ribs and one spoonful of each potato salad and coleslaw.
Maybe if they are cooked during the week the food might be good but on the weekends not so much. The girls were pleasant but not apologetic. Since I doubt I’ll ever visit MENA again it’s not a big deal.

Don't be mislead! This is a gas station and a convenience store, but they also serve some pretty good BBQ and fried catfish.

And for a gas station, they have a good selection of snacks and super cnice, clean restrooms.

So far, we have always had a good experience at CE!

Ok tried again for 3 meals. Last time asked sauce on side for one nope. This time asked 1 meal sauce on side. Out of three meals no sauce on others all on side husbands didn't even get full meal or any sauce. Won't be back 2 times still can't get it right!

My Fiancée said she wanted Catfish when coming into the town of Mena, AR. I pulled up the reviews and this little Gas Station / Convenience Store was rated the best in Mena. I must admit on walking in we started to turn and leave. But the lady at the counter was so friendly. She showed us the menu on the wall, and she said we would not be disappointed. Well when my sweetie says she wants fish, by golly we are going to have fish. We both ordered the two-piece dinner with all the fixings. It was a little pricey I thought especially considering the atmosphere was a "0". We waited and the food came out and WOW!! Cole Slaw and Hush Puppies perfect. Catfish was as good as I have ever had and believe me, I have had a lot. Beans and French Fries were average, but the pickled tomatoes were good, and the tea was awesome. I would give this a 5 but atmosphere has to rate for something. Believe me I would not hesitate to eat here again if I am ever through this town again.

I ordered take out food was done pretty fast but the girl workin the register was kinda rude .got home and took everything out of bags and I was missing my daughters chicken strips .so I called and told her I was missing them and she pretty much called me a liar and said she put them in there. I was nice and said not trying to call you a liar or cause any trouble le over a couple of chicken strips .(not really a big deal but when I spend $48 on dried out pulled pork sandwiches and greasy okra not to mention they didn't give me my dressing for my salad. They've went way down hill since the other bar b q place went into business and prices are too high...ANYWAY NOT A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE AND HORRIBLE FOOD !!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ITAT ALL .WASTE OF MONEY WOULDN'T FEED IT TO MY DOG.....
