I'm from here so I have to say it's really nice to visit but do I miss the stores? Yes. (Back in 2010, it was still so good! 🙁 Thank God FOR THE BOOKS A MILLION.. although I don't go as often as I would like (far away?) but I love the minimalist environment and we need local shops now. It's clean and quiet tho 🙂

Sad to see what's happened to this mall, with the 2 Anchors ripped out and a bland wall constructed to mask it. Not a lot of stores left, but there are a few noteworthy big chains left, which is surprising. Grass fields where the old JCPenney and Sears are. Belk is the only traditional tenant left. This mall has 100% seen better days but the owners have to do what's necessary to survive, which includes the remodel that took the aesthetic and historic design away.

Sad reminder of what was and what could be. Most of the stores have moved out but the infrastructure is still there. Whoever runs this mall needs to be more aggressive and recruiting stores to come to the mall. Too many closed stores. If you can't make it as a regular mall maybe you should consider turning it into an outlet mall. But just having empty stores and spaces is a bad look.

As with most malls, this one has seen better days. To it's credit they have retained Belk as a true anchor. Dalton Mall has a decent mix of retail clothing and shoe options for the entire family. There are also a couple of jewelry stores. For entertainment, there is also a huge arcade ( I sropped a few coins in there). They come up short in the culinary department. There is a Chick fil a and at least one other Asian food option. Beyond that, there are several options close by. Dalton Mall is your best bet in this small market for one-stop shopping.

PLEASE Bring back the 90s walnut square mall!!! Bc why do I need to drive south or to tn and pay a Hefty tax. Just to shop simple. Verify/ diversity would be a charm. Better yet who can I sit down with and have a conversation to get the mall back on the map

Small mall now that they've taken the Sears and Macy's buildings down but very clean. Plenty of parking and a good selection of stores

I was very impressed with this old mill converted to shops and restaurants. I ate Native Kitchen and absolutely loved it. The square inside is decorated very well and well worth a visit. Plenty of food, drinking, boutique shops, massage, hair places to try.
