I used to be homeless in that area and it was gods grace the business owners didnt run us off for problems but they were very nice to most of the homeless who also were staying in the area! Very Good people all around and the owner of circle k deserves a medal for her patience and kindness to some of us! Just saying it out loud! Great Food and small parking slots but i dont even own a car! Lol

In the date palm plaza is a restaurant called the southern belle cafe. We have breakfast and dinner from here and it’s really top notch. Shrimp and grits, fried chicken sandwich, hush puppies, oh hush puppies.
Breakfast was equally as great

There are four shops I frequent here. Snappy Nails, China 8, Cardenas and Panda Express.

I don't stay here late in the evening because the homeless solicit me for something to eat or money and this frightens the little ones.

I give the aforementioned restaurants and store 5 stars.

Our family and family business has been coming here for over 20 years...even though we give their sister restaurant (1000 Palms) a run for their $$. Great people and wonderful food!
