Outstanding knives! I bought a Shepard and believe it to be the perfect EDC blade. The finish looks great. The ergonomics are incredible. The knife melts into your hand. The g10 grips feel great. I really can’t say enough about the knife. It’s held its edge well. The sheath and included Ulti clip work well together, fits in the front pocket of my Duluth pants and fully conceals. I like this knife so much I bought a Steadfast a few weeks later. It’s just as nice. Similar to the Shepard but not identical. It’s smaller in all aspects.it might be preferable to folks with smaller hands it will work for anyone.

Dawson knives are awesome. I bought my knife 35 years ago and it one of a kind. It got run over by a dump truck and was in pieces. I sent it to Dawson which is still in business and they fixed it like new. So excited. I’ll send another review when I get it

I purchased the Dawson - Shepherd knife in the Arizona Copper finish. I own a couple Winkler knives, Toor, Benchmade, and others and this is the best looking knife and sharpest out of the box. The spine of the blade is so thick it will handle any task. I’m so impressed I immediately ordered the Dawson Steadfast knife in the Typhoon finish to be my new EDC. They’re perfectly balanced and the grip feels great in your hand. The Kydex sheath is tight and has a slim profile. Being all American made by one family is an added plus. I recommend getting a Dawson knife if you’re someone that depends on a solid blade in your life.

Hands down some of the most beautiful knives I've had the pleasure of buying. The staff answers all my questions and make sure I was happy with my two purchases. Dawson's are a awesome family!

Let's start out by saying how much I value the quality of knives that Dawson puts out. I've purchased the Gen 2 Smuggler and Contractor series knives. One to use, and one to gift. The Smuggler is part of my everyday carry that works perfectly with the UltiClip they included. This thing is razor sharp and maintains an edge with all the abuse I put into it. This isn't just my standard "box cutting knife," no, I use it for prying, working in my wood shop, and even hunting. I've had it for a few months now, and have yet to sharpen it. It's THAT good. On top of everything, it feels great in my hand. Big enough for brute work, and small enough for precision work like skinning or carving.

It's safe to say I'll be purchasing more in the future for other friends and other adventures. As a small business owner, I love that I can support Dawson in their continuing generations of family-owned products.

One word. Impeccable! The craftsmanship is outstanding and the blade is CRAZY sharp. I own a Montana Knife Co and a Dawson Contractor. Both are great knives but IMO I believe the Dawson is a “notch” up.

Dawson knives are hands down the best American blade company. Once you place a blade in your hands you will feel the difference in quality sure you could go buy a cheap knife and sure it might cut however dawson blades are heirloom pieces that will be around forever if your on the fence about getting one try them out you will not be disappointed 😉.

Hands down this is the best knife I've ever purchased! Great blade and one of a kind finish! I got this as a hunting knife! I'll be the first to admit I am hard on knives. This knife makes the job effortless, retains a phenomenal edge and also is easy to clean! The only thing I wish I had for it was a leather sheath instead of kydex! However it's absolutely worth every penny and will be a family heirloom! This was my first dawson purchase of many to come!
