I'm gonna revise my review. We have been visiting Vero for the past 15 years and we always stop here to get sunglasses or flipflops, shirts, hats, random merch stuff and have always found something to bring home. We have never had a bad experience here and will continue to return.

Follow up to the response:
One of your instructors is the one that informed me that the people doing VIPs we're not properly certified. You also failed to perform the paid for service, and if that's not enough you lost two of my tanks for over a year and were avoiding taking care of the problem.

Do not take your tanks for service or fill here. Took four tanks in for VIP O2 cleaning and fill and had problems with three of four tanks. 102 tank was filled with 79% 02 not 100. Two tanks were to Bo too cleaned and VIP sticker did not show the O2 cleaning was completed. Both tanks without O2 cleaning had cut o-rings and will returned with less than $1,600 PSI of gas. When we tried to fill the tanks the tanks were leaking through the o-rings. Staff doing VIP work are not properly trained or certified in the work.

I was told to go there for hat. I have shopped there before. Never have I had the help stare at me, the customer, while trying to find the right hat size. Very very poor service. They never volunteered to assist, even after searching for my size, with two women standing behind the counter in plain sight of me. I won’t give them my money anymore.

I walk in store and I come to get my daughter a bauithing suit and to my surprise there was a half eaten chicken leg in the freaking!!!! Bauithingsuit!!!!! Disgusting!!!!! Wtfffff

Bad customer service here. The young girl didn’t want to answer any questions , was coughing in my face just backing away from me, what the heck. There was a rack of rash guards and at the top was a sign that read above them all, sale sale sale. I asked the girl was the whole rack on sale? If yes what was the sale price? Or were items on sale only separate marked? She said In an annoying way like don’t bother me tourist, sorry rash guards aren’t normally on sale. Well that doesn’t answer me. All she had to say was items on sale would be marked, if not marked not on sale but she wasn’t listening to me and didn’t seem like she wanted to work at all. Rude. She just acted like I don’t care and walked away. I put back the merchandise and walked out. If you don’t like customer service don’t work in retail.

I’ve been going to Deep Six for as long as I can remember. It’s the shop that certified me probably 20 years ago and I always try to support them. Are they the cheapest? No, I’m sure you can find something 10% cheaper online but they are a local shop that you can count on. Nothing is like actually looking at an item that you want to buy before you buy it. The staff is knowledgeable and always friendly. This review was written during the covid freak out... I felt it was terrible that people were leaving 1 star reviews because they required you to wear a mask while shopping. First off do I agree with the masks and do I personally want to wear one? No, but they have to follow procedures and look out for their customers (younger and older). Guess what... it’s a new era right now and it’s something we have to deal with for the time being. Support your local businesses because if you don’t they will disappear. Then when yours looking for that special piece of equipment or need to get your tanks hydroed you can enjoy that trip to west palm just to be placed on an extensive waiting list.
