I give a low rating because of the Dillards credit card. I just wanted to change my address, but decided to closed my credit card account because I could not login to their website marked suspicious by my browser, and when I called customer service to change address, there was no way to talk to a human. The recording said I had to do it online. So I decided to just close the account out of frustration. When I did this with the automated system, it did not confirm it was closing, so still have no clue if I have an acct or not. Horrible system for managing the credit card. All corporations are getting rid of human workers. This is the sci fi I never thought would happen in my lifetime.

I shopped at the store in Hurst, Texas on 7/4/24. I bought several items and finished my transaction at 6:03pm. When I tried to exit all but one door on the lower level west side of the building had been locked. I had to walk around the store and up a flight of stairs to where I parked a few feet from the door on the east side of the store when it was 100 degrees and with an injured foot and hip. This is not the way to win customers back to your store. I was in so much pain by the time I walked to my car that I had tears in my eyes. The store needs to allow at least 10 minutes for customers to exit. All doors were locked at 6:05pm.
The items I purchased were at full price. 14 hours later these items were 40% off, so I begrudgingly went back to the store to get a price adjustment. I was told they were unable to do the adjustment. Now I have to return to the store again to return all of the items and repurchase them if I choose to keep them. This makes more work for your employees and is inconvenient for your customers as well as making me question keeping these items at all.
This is not the customer service I expected from Dillards. I live in DFW and have many retail choices. I am Ambassador level at Nordstrom because they have wonderful customer service. My experience at Dillards was extremely disappointing, and I will be taking my money elsewhere in the future.

I have been trying to get an issue resolved to no avail. No one has contacted me from an email I sent last week and the store I ordered from has done nothing. I WILL NEVER ORDER SUITS OR RECOMMEND ANYONE TO ORDER THEIR SUITS FROM HERE.

I was told it’s ok for another colleague to snatch a product out of my hand. Since it was not seen on camera there was nothing that could be done about it. Even though two other associates witness it . There is no violation. I was told that there is no HR that can be involve because the store manger is HR . He said it was unfortunate and unprofessional but I can not be moved from the department or store. I was also told that I should be more aggressive with the colleague if I want to make my numbers.

I have shopped at Dillard's since moving to Texas in 1985. Always great service. I recently ordered a top from them, it was $59.00. I just received the top and love it. However I just saw the SAME top inline at a clearance price of $35.40 That's a difference of $23.60!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I called their so-called Customer Service to ask for a price adjustment and was told they do not give price adjustments!!!!!!!!! Well they have just lost a loyal 39 year long customer. I would return the top but I had already removed the tags and laundered it. It is my LAST DILLARD'S PURCHASE!!!!!!!!!!

First of all , I did not know Dillard’s is selling USED shoes ! We realize that after paying for a new pair and came home open the box there is a pair of used shoes !!!! Next day we decided go back to the Dillar’s and exchange it for an another pair that was not used they did not have one . Lady was helping me she said Thad she will ask her manager to do something about it managers answer was no there is nothing can be done . I got a different pair and decided to go speak with assistant store manager I explained my self to her but she was so stubborn !!! All she said was I understand sir but we can’t do anything about it , yes you can do something, stop selling used shoes or offer a reasonable discount to keep me happy . This is my experience with this store I wanted to share it with others to see .advertisement for a new shoes and selling used one is not fair to me and others!!!! Would not recommend them and I am going to give my business to elsewhere. Dishonest, rude , disrespectful customer service!!!

I was offered a I worked for Dillards previously over A DECADE ago, and this was listed on my application and resume.
(Which Corp two days latest said I falsified)
I went through TWO ROUNDS of the interview process with THREE different levels of management. So, after the 2nd round, the hiring manager called to tell me They all "loved" and I got the job. Now...again...you would think after the 1st Round of interviews; the hiring manager or mgmt would run my info to make sure I am eligible for rehire, which I clearly thought I was...its been OVER 20 YEARS. But I digress..no one did the aforementioned so...this morning..after TWO rounds of interviews with THREE different members of mgmt...I received a text stating I came back as "Black Marked" not rehirable"
Wait...I have a Job Offer in my email...
Wait...I worked there over A DECADE ago. Yes, I was termed due to tardiness and absences which I explained to the Store Manager in tears was due to a significant DEATH in my life.
So...even after all this time...
I can't return
I didnt violate any policy or procedures.
I didnt disrespect or make any racial epithets towards anyone (as was often done to me)
I was tardy and exceeded my absences because my LIFE was FRACTURED.
Now...the thing is: This is not a Federal job.
This is not a Fortune 500 Company...
In Retail..Dillards is a RELIC..A DINOSAUR.
On Indeed...former employees rate this company 3.2!
But...I was hired. Have a actual Job offer in my email...and today...I find out I cant return to this company for tardies over a Decade ago.
The Store Manager from my previous tenure in 2002 was clearly racist as she would often use derogatory terms towards myself and other Black and Brown Americans, but NEVER did I expect after I was termed for HR to mark me as Non Rehire. For LIFE!!
I also NEED to note that the woman I spoke to a corporate, actually hung up on my face right after she lied and altered my application to suggest I falsified it.
