Sergio the driver and his assistant went the extra mile to make sure getting the old unit out and the new unit in went smoothly and took the time to set everything up and let us know what we had to do. We had an excellent experience with Direct Appliances. We purchased a new cooktop and range hood. DA’s selection was superior to that of the big box hardware stores, and we received first-rate assistance from Vince in making our selection. We hired their recommended licensed contractor, who did a splendid job installing the cooktop and range hood - he even took away the old appliances for recycling! Highly recommended company.

I placed an order with Dwayne at the Mchenry store, two weeks before we moved in to our new home. Dwayne guaranteed that we would have our appliances by that day which was November 1st. We called after not receiving a delivery on that day and Dwayne said it would arrive on Monday the 4th. That's 4 days with perishables in coolers because we didn't receive our refrigerator. Dwayne was off til Thursday and during that time, no other sales rep could give us an update or details because only Dwayne has that information. The refrigerator along with the washer and dryer arrived on the 8th. We went 8 days with perishables in coolers with ice. We thought about cancelling and Dwayne told us that we would have to pay a restocking fee of $159 when it was 100 percent direct appliance that should compensate us for the inconvenience. They did not offer us anything, no discount on a future purchase, no refund for delivery or anything. Bad customer service on their part. I will not ever order from there again!!
