I am an Army vet who just brought property and relocated to Appling Co. Me and my elderly father totally love it here! Well, my utility trailer that I use to transport our stuff from Savannah, left blinker was out. I noticed a wire had broken on the plug assembly. I went into the store and told the guy what was going on. He sent his service guy out, he was very nice and knowledgeable. He saw the problem and said I just need to splice another plug on it. He got a OLD plug from his shop, cut it off, cut my plug off, spliced the wires and clamped them! 10 minutes top! Service guy talked me through process! I went to pay for the work and the guy at the counter charged me $52! He even said the part was only $5! Even the service guy was surprised! Counter guy was nice and everything, he but doesn’t care about the customer! Down 2 Earth needs to bring their prices Down to the working/retired Man! I will never darken their doorstep again and will tell everyone to avoid them!

I own a 7x14 dump trailer and it’s okay for light duty hauls. Some parts aren’t painted so rust quickly. Trailer frame bent first time using it with 4 yards of soil. I wouldn’t consider it for commercial use, more for residential light duty. I have owned it now for 9 months and bought brand new. If you plan to use it for a landscape company then you might want something a little beefier to handle the daily tasks.

I bought a 24' tilt trailer with 2 -7000lbs axles around the first of the year. I bought it to haul 2 scissor lifts they weigh 3500lbs each. I don't use this trailer very much but within 6 months had to rewire the hydraulic pump due to poor quality wiring job. While we were doing that, we notice the tongue had a number of stress cracks. (See attached pictures.) I called 2 times to talk to the warranty manager and never got a call back. The workman ship of this trailer is very poor.

Wheel bearing failed while driving, and the wheel fell apart on the highway due to over tensioned hub. Outside of warranty period, but lightly used trailer with less than 500 miles and never pulled over 60 mph and never overloaded. Down to Earth says "hands are tied"... Nope...doing the right thing is not limited to 1 year. It's sad when organizations hide behind policy to avoid a few hundred dollars of payout.

The best customer service I have ever received. They drove 80 miles one way on a Friday night to solve an issue I was having with a trailer. Everybody was extremely nice and took the issue very serious. I couldn’t have asked for better service. I will be recommending them to everyone for trailers from here on out.

All I can say is run. If I could put a 0 for there review I would. The quality and craftsmanship of the trailer is a 0 brand new trailer paint peeling and rust coming through the paint only had the trailer for 3 months. They took trailer back to factory and the spray painted over the rust and you can see spots all over the trailer. When you call the company you have to call them non stop to get any answers. They say they can do nothing else. Horrible company and product
