I love DSW. I can find my size 90% of the time and they keep a good selection with good change over. Customer service could definitely be better. There is never anybody to help you on the floor and very often there's a long line with only 2 cashiers, while the other employees just hang around talking with each other. Just visited again today. Still, several staff chatting with each other, while a customer was trying to return shoes for his wife and had none of the required info and only one cashier. Even after she called for back up, it took several minutes for someone to respond.

Always a good selection of shoes, especially for folks with larger feet. I wear a size 11 in women's and generally cannot find nice shoes in that size anywhere else. They had a good selection of toddler shoes (the reason for our last visit).
The people who work their are nice, but their system is really slow and we were waiting a long time to get checked out. They only had 2 cashiers.
