I don't agree with the owner/ Worker letting his underage kids sell alcohol to Adults they just sell the alcohol/beer without checking ID
I brought it to his attention and he said it's ok for them to sell Alcohol/beer as long as he's in the store he sits in the back room not knowing really what's going on. What if the kids sold beer to someone that looks older but isn't. He's risking his store closing or better yet his licenses which is the biggest money making for that store selling beer .
I ask him would it be OK for a adult sell alcohol to them of course he said no
I understand he teaching them to work but how he knows if that what they want but ok work but teaching them the right way.. I know some kids look older then they look what if one of them came in and the kids dosen't check for ID. ?
WHAT IF HE GETS SET UP ?
BUT NOW I BET HE THINK TWICE
BECAUSE THE SHERIFF'S CAME AND TOLD HIM . HE TOLD ME NOT TO COME BACK BUT THAT OK BECAUSE HE DOUBLE CHARGES FOR EVERTHING.
NOW I GET MY BUTT AND GO TO COSTCO TO GET THE SAME STUFF CHEAPER.
THANKS I SAVE MONEY NOW PLUS HE NOT THE ONLY STORE AROUND.

I shop there almost daily. While they are a little pricey, they are a small business trying to compete with big companies. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They know me by name and make me feel welcomed, so an overall pleasant shopping experience. And they have a large selection, everything you could need on a regular basis. Check them out before wasting your money at the Chevron.

10302022: I am giving this place a five because I remember coming here when I was growing up in Zamora which is a few miles away. At the time, Gil Bourne was the owner and the lunch counter made great hamburgers and milkshakes. Great piece of hometown Americana right here in Dunnigan CA.

7-15-16 update. Grill still closed but market is open.

6-4-16 came in for breakfast, grill is closed for one month with a health violation. Will keep checking on them because this is a favorite "hole in the wall" stop.

5-20-16 had a egg chorizo bean burrito and instant coffee. Delicious!
4-2016 Well stocked mini Mart. They serve Mexican food and hamburgers and fries are on the menu. The cook and the clerk both were polite and friendly. I purchased Ritz crackers and a couple of Mounds bars and then decided on some fresh street tacos from the grill. The tacos were of the best I've had. I drive truck and have had many Mexican tacos. There is plenty of parking and for big trucks plenty of parking. When I was in there about six pm there were about ten persons eating and having beer. I sat at the bar watching my food being cooked (to go) and felt comfortable while waiting. The clerk underlined the phone number on my receipt and mentioned I could call an order in if I was short on time. Next time I plan on trying some breakfast grub.
Side note, Letty so far does not always have her full menu available. But she does let you know what she has cooking and ready. She's does very well with a limited kitchen.

They have food,soda,water,beer,cigs,fishing supplies,bait,cleaning brooms,mops,charcoal,lighter fluid. Candy bars,cookies,donuts, and a lot more!. Always clean,the employees are very courteous also if you need something they'll have it with in 2 days. Great Store

Was in town for the weekend and stopped by this store thankfully found everything I needed. As soon as I walked in the guy behind the counter greeted with a smile, very helpful guy. Will definitely be returning when I’m in town.

The little guy is cool. I bought two burritos from the cooler and they were bad. They really don't have much stuff.

Great little store and it has cool looking masks, shirts, food, beverages, if they don't have something they'll get it, ohh yeah the employees are very nice.
