This store has really gone downhill over the years. I assume poor management is the main problem. I tried to shop here a few days ago when i was in the area, but there was a sign on the door that said they decided to close early (about 2 hours before the mall closed). When I came back a few days later, the store seemed to be severely understaffed, and the inventory selection also seemed like it's starting to slip as well. I literally only found one T-shirt to buy during my visit. It's too bad because Eddie Bauer has always been known to be a top-notch company. I hate to do business online when it comes to clothes shopping, but it looks like this local store will be driving me in that direction.

Worst customer service I’ve ever had to deal with! It’s a shame because the clothing is very nice if you receive it. Waited over a hour each time I’ve called trying to change my mailing address several times and it’s still wrong! Then they cancelled the other half of my Black Friday order due to not being in stock but yet they still offer the same items sizes and colors on the website. Email responded to the cancelled order still no response days later. Tried to call corporate and they are closed due to renovations during the holiday season of course. I purchase a good bit online and at the store location. Customer service needs total revamp!

My brother and his family sent my family gifts for Christmas. I have never been inside an Eddie Bauer store before. Not sure if it’s this store or all stores but they do not give store credit. I had a gift receipt but had to browse the store for other merchandise to do an exchange. The women’s side goes up to 2XL but their clothes don’t fit me correctly. Most of the 2XL sizes are extremely short in the arms and torso. Most of their shirts/sweatshirts remind me of cropped shirts which is not a flattering look for me. The store itself is really clean and organized. The employees are friendly too.

Great quality clothes and the discounts that you get here can't be beat, even online. The staff is always helpful without being pushy. I love Eddie Bauer, and I'm so glad that we have an outlet store here in Birmingham!

This is an Eddie Bauer outlet store in the mall at Grand Rivers. It's a good store carrying all your Eddie Bauer merchandise. I found the store to be clean and well stocked. The staff was friendly and helpful. This is a good place to shop.
