I purchased a 2025 Maverick at El Cajon Ford after searching and waiting for the right model to become available. Due to the high demand of these trucks, that process took about two months and involved me chatting with every Ford dealership in the area. Andrew from El Cajon Ford was the most personable salesman I dealt with during that process, so I was hoping to be able to buy from him, but was ready to buy from any dealership that could supply the Maverick that I wanted.
Andrew kept me posted on their inventory of Mavericks with my desired color/trim level and didn't hassle me or try to talk me into anything I wasn't interested in like a few other dealerships did. He contacted me immediately and let me conduct a thorough test drive when the vehicle I wanted arrived and I was able to close the deal by the end of the day.

Had a great experience at this dealership and left with a new car! James had the car out and ready for me to test drive when I arrived and was really friendly. Where the experience really went above and beyond was in finance. Mike explained everything to me so well. I had never leased before and I had so many questions, Mike went above and beyond to answer my questions (even ones outside of his finance department that I should have asked earlier) and help me feel comfortable with the process. I left feeling like I got a fair value for my trade in, my new car is great and I’m very happy with the follow up as well! I would definitely use this team again for my next vehicle transaction!

I had a great experience for the most part, the only hiccup was the color listed on the site didn’t match the vehicle or window sticker. However, I still got the exact specs I wanted in a truck. Omar and Spencer were great and took care of me. The overall process was easy and much faster than previous dealership experiences I’ve had in the past.

I’m originally from Michigan and when you walk into dealership in Michigan with “A” plan papers they welcome you because they know they have a sure sale. El Cajon Ford takes it to mean loading up on warranty clauses and insurances to make extra money and boost their profits and inflate the price of new vehicle that they put on the buyer. They had me fill out a credit app and said they wouldn’t run unless I purchased a car. I walked away from them with their loaded down costs added to the price of the car. Then because I didn’t buy their car they went and ran my credit report to punish me. This has now affected my credit score which was their intent. Protect yourself or they will screw you over. Better yet don’t buy a car from this dealership. They are shady bunch of people.

We bought a new truck from El Cajon Ford. Reagan was the one that has always taken care of us. Once again, he did an amazing job. He is super friendly and goes out of his way to take care of us. He stays late if needed, and always gets back to us quickly about questions that we had. In this day and age, it is very rare to find someone that goes out of their way to take care of the customer. We will continue to go back to El Cajon Ford because of Reagan.

Came in for a scheduled oil change on a very busy Saturday for the shop. The folks who work here are efficient, kind, and communicated well. Wait time wasn’t as long as I expected given how busy they were. Glad this will be the shop I’ll be using for warranty work on my truck!
