The quality of meat was good for being Angus from where we are from the meat was alot more expensive then from our region in california with the same quality of meat but city prices of meat alway seem to be a bit more expensive. Overall it was still good quality so Im Not complaining and the service was quick in my experience.

The ranchera meat was good. If you buy the trays make sure you cook the meat on the bottom first and switch top meat to bottom so it can marinate some more otherwise it might be less marinated/less flavor

Great meat market but they charged me and my friend wrong for wagyu tasajo. The butcher might have been new and ended giving us regular tasajo and for some reason he charged me 25$/LB and my friend 19$/LB. There was probably some confusion. We didn’t noticed til after we got home. I understand mistakes are made but next time im going to make sure I get what I paid for.

Best meat market in Downey hands down, the meat is so freaking tender it literally tears apart when cooking it. They have all sorts of cuts, they even have Wagyu! The marinated chicken breast is amazing and so is the carne asada, the al pastor isn't all super greasy like other places. Best spot and the line isn't as long as it is in Norwalk 😂

Had the most delightful carne. Guy told me he bought in in Downey. I'm here in Lake Tahoe. When I'm passing through Downey in early July, I'm definitely stopping by to get my meats for the 4th along with some Momma's chicken sauges in LA.
