A one stop shop for everything Greeting Cards, mementos, collectibles, toys, decors, and more, for every occasion. The selections are plentiful, so many to choose from. This location is very organized, clean, all the noted Pandemic sanitary protocol in place. Everyone is required to wear a mask for safety. A really cute windchime is what my Hubby bought me from here for VALENTINE'S. Staff was very personable, professional, and attentive. Great customer service!

I love Elam’s both La Mesa and San Marcos. The ladies who work at both locations are kind and very friendly. They seem to love their job and are happy to be there. They have a great selection of gifts, purses and clothing in addition to cards.

I walked in to this store with a pack of yarn as I had gone to Walmart beforehand and didn’t want to buy a bag so I held it in my hand with the receipt easily visible in sight. The second I walked in I felt like I was being stared at and noticed the girl at the front w/ curly ginger hair had her eyes on me. I browsed around, but felt uncomfortable so I decided to leave, and as I headed for the door, she raised her voice and said “excuse me”. She thought I was shoplifting and I showed her my receipt and item in my hand. She did not apologize or anything for falsely accusing me, and this situation made me feel super uncomfortable and embarrassed.

At Grossmont Center so easy parking...A little pricy but something for every taste and if you are looking for a special one of kind type gift at the last minute this is my go to place! Tons of cards and Hallmark ornaments too!!!
