Great experience! Runa was incredibly kind and helpful. The shop was a bit busy when we were there, but the vibe was celebratory and friendly. Runa found a way to help everyone and I saw her do an excellent job helping people of all ethnicities, sizes, and style choices. She helped me find a bridal lehenga and guided me through the unfamiliar cultural practices which had been intimidating me. 5 stars!

My mom, sister (bride), my cousin (bridesmaid) and I (maid of honor) went to Elora last night. We have been shopping around for a couple of months now and have been very disappointed when it came to bridal party outfit. Since my sister is having a garden wedding, we wanted to go with the theme and not buy just any typical bright and bold Indian attire. The owner, was very helpful and she brought out just that.
We ended up buying bridesmaid, maid of honor, best man, groomsman, brides parents attire, brides Sangeet and brides henna attire. We had such a wonderful experience! So glad my uncle recommended this place to us. They definitely have unique pieces. We are definitely going back there to get more attire for the grooms family since they are not Indians.

Highly recommend this place!!!! You won’t be disappointed!!!!

This is a wonderful shop to get authentic Indian clothing and jewelry. Out of the many places we looked at, Ellora had the best pieces, prices, and customer service! The lady working there was very patient with us and had no problem laying out a large spread of clothes and jewelry (both displayed and from the back room) until we had figured out what we wanted. I tried on three or four lehengas before making my decision, and each time she was very helpful with buttoning/tying my blouse and placing my chunni to reveal the full effect of the dress. They also have an excellent tailor and my clothes came perfectly fitted for my body. My mom, brother, and I will definitely keep going back for future purchases.

Runa was amazing! She was so patient and really helped my mom and best friend find a perfect saree for my wedding that matched their skin tones and was on theme with our wedding colors. She spent a lot of time telling us how to make saree most flattering and even draped them both so we could really see how they will look. She showed us how to style with tops that are more flattering. They also have amazing tassels and beautiful jewelry. I felt like the prices were really reasonable too. I wish I had found this shop months ago!

Edit: I have to take two stars off because once a professional went to drape my mother in this saree they said it was too short width and length wise- even after my mother added fabric per her instructions and said it wouldn’t show and it did because it was still very short- several people also mentioned it wasn’t the caliber of silk that was advertised that a mother of a bride would wear. The trim was low grade and snagged and destroyed her top. It would have been nice to see the whole selection and not just a select few the shopkeeper brought out.

First of all, this place is not your typical bazaar for buying Indian suits & that's what I love about it most. When you first walk in, you are greeted by the man and woman who work there (forgot their names). They aren't pushy or hover over you whole you browse their collection. Speaking of their collection, it's amazing! The way it's organized, the color selection, the different types of suits they carry, the size range, etc, etc. They also carry beautiful jewellery. Lastly, I want to say that Ellora is the most reasonably priced shop I've ever been to. Will definitely go again! 10/10 would recommend.

My husband, daughter and son-in-law needed attire for our son's wedding. We are not Indian but were very excited (and a little nervous) to shop for traditional attire for several pre-wedding events and for the wedding ceremony. We went to several shops around the Bay Area and either didn't find what we were looking for or weren't treated very well. I did more research and found Ellora in a Google search. We drove from SF to Dublin and had an AMAZING experience. The staff at Ellora are EXTREMELY helpful and were so incredibly nice to us. Obviously we were not the typical customer - we weren't sure what we were looking for - we just knew we wanted to look very nice and appropriate for all our events. The Ellora staff guided us to things that were beautiful and made the whole experience fun and exciting. All our alterations were completed well before our trip and everything fit exactly as it should at the first try-on. I recommend Ellora without reservation. Everything about our experience was perfect!!

Fabulous Experience! I needed a couple of Indian attire outfits for friends parties and a Puja celebration. I am not Indian and was a little nervous to go by myself so my Indian friend recommended Ellora Fashions and she also accompanied me to shop. I had a truly FABULOUSLY, FUN experience....The owner took her time and showed me many beautiful Lehengas and Gagra Choli's in all price points. I ended with two beautiful outfits to fit all my occasions. One needed alteration and when I picked it up, it fit to a "T" perfect! Runa and her staff also helped me pick out jewelry and purses to go with both outfits. The day of one of my events, I needed help with pinning and wrapping my Daputa and the staff assisted in making sure I was put together - I walked out of the story feeling like a model in my new Gagra Choli, jewelry and purse!
Not once did not feel any pressure to buy anything in all my visits and I felt their goal was to make sure I was happy. I was made to feel like I was their only customer even though the store was busy. I HIGHLY recommend Ellora Fashions. They offer beautiful attire for all occasions and their service is PHENOMENAL!

I would have given them NO stars at all if I could! After being excited to return to this store , we left extremely disappointed and verbally assaulted by store owners. When we asked to look at their outfits their response was are you buying today or just browsing!! We should have known then this was not going to go well!! They basically said to us you have been here three times and not bought anything! They expect you to buy something after pulling some outfits out, but how can one do that when you are not definite about a purchase especially when there is a no return policy. I get it, it takes time to show outfits and fold and put them away but isn’t that what they are suppose to do? Owner went on to say twice “ I’m not complaining” but yes he was . What business owner does that? They were ahead of themselves thinking that we are going to waste their time showing us outfits. When we would have bought many outfits but needed time to make such a purchase because this was no small matter, we were looking for my daughter’s bridal immediate family oufits. since we have a family wedding coming up. Beware, if you ask them to show you outfits they will expect you to buy! They say “we need to be motivated!
