Anyone remember this place in the eighties when it was a traditional shopping center with the May Co. as an anchor? Now it’s a textbook example of how to adapt to the changing times with mixed shopping experiences like Home Depot, Starbucks, Walmart, Nordstrom Rack, Dick’s Sporting Goods, 5 Degrees Below, Boot Barn, a gym, other restaurants plus big tim draw BJ’s Brewery.

A friend and I went to the New Chicken Bowl Teriyaki restaurant for lunch. The man was kind, friendly and happy. Great atmosphere, and great food!! A must try if ever in Oxnard CA.

Able to shop for groceries, clothes, tools and building materials, eat, pay phone bill and work out when I drop my car off for an oil change

Has a little bit of everything including tools.

Only down side Is the owners dont care about the shopers ADA needs of a clear walk way.
Carts, and big trucks block off the side walk off Oxnard blvd.

They did some repainting of the handy cap spots and direcion arrows.

It's decent. A few places to eat. Try BJ's they're really good, by the way. The Home Depot makes traffic around the parking lot a little crazy at times. Plus, there is A LOT of migrant workers in the parking lot of Home Depot soliciting. This can make the passing through experience a tad bit uncomfortable. Other than that, there's some decent stores and a UFC Gym!!!

Parking availability is usually good. Even though I do have a DMV disability placard.
I say this because, realistically people with disabilities do need a little effort in each stride, so, handicap parking availabilty could be challenging at times.
Good news is Esplanade always has adequate availability for both.
