While I was on a business trip visiting Stanford University, my colleague highly recommended this health and beauty store in downtown Pallo Alto. The store was on Park blvd, not too far from my hotel. A very calm and soothing ambiance with a divine smell. A young, charming lady warmly greeted me. She asked if I was there to shop for myself and I told her that I wanted to get things for my wife. I soon found out that all the products were made from natural ingredients, and I was amazed by the diverse variety of products offered. The sales lady was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! She helped me pick out a few skin products for my wife, two diffusers for my office and home, and tubes of natural oils. My wife is so impressed by my shopping taste and expertise and I am very satisfied with my shopping experience. It was definitely money well spent! I love my diffusers that I got. Absolutely 5 stars, if not 10. The products from this supplier are very unique in the freshness of their ingredients; you will not fully know their potential till you have tried them. I bought a few items for my wife who did not use anything but "la prairie" products. After using their hair mask and body wash my wife is hooked. Their shampoo and the bloom aftershave makes the start of the day very special. Their products are also now our favorite gift set to give to friends with confidence. Highly recommended!

I absolutely LOVE Essentique! Two of my most favorite things in the world are natural beauty products & strong female entrepreneurs. So, when I found this amazing company I knew I'd be a customer for life!

I can only speak to my experience of shopping online here, as I live in Florida and haven't made it into the Palo Alto store...yet! A few things to note: the owner hand-makes all of the amazing beauty products in small batches to ensure freshness, the products are all natural and plant-derived, and also when you order online you get shipped the most incredible box that you can tell was packed with love and thoughtfulness (the packaging is truly beautiful!!).

I don't think you could go wrong with any of the products you try, but my personal favorites are the Uplift Facial Cleanser and Luminescence hand and body polish - both have absolutely changed my life. The cleanser has the BEST smell to it, so I actually look forward to washing my face every day (haha!) And the body polish, which contains Walnut Shell Powder, Banana Pulp Powder, Argan Oil, and Turmeric is so great. Every time I use it, my skin honestly feels like it just got pampered at the spa all day. Hands down the best body scrub I've ever used!

If you're looking for eco-friendly, vegan, plant-derived, organic face, body, and hair products, and also have a love for supporting women-owned businesses, I would highly recommend checking Essentique out!

You just have to enter the place to feel special. There is such a sense of peace and pure beauty that you are gifting yourself a pause in the Silicon Valley World. I know Essentique since the conception of it. It has been so exciting to see the evolution of the brand. I used to import my skin and hair products from France where I am from, and I do not anymore. I am a big fan of Elevate for its texture, softness and rose sent it leaves on my face. I do not use any other shampoo than EggCell that is both nourishing and delicate to apply. I can feel love coming out from their bottles. I know they do small batches which makes the products always very fresh and they are organic, made right there, honoring Mother Earth.
