This is my favorite bookstore in the world...and I love bookstores. This is no Powell's, don't expect two stories of endless stacks, but this is a classic, hometown bookstore. All new books, up to date on latest selections, and a nice collection of gifts as well...however, what really makes this bookstore unique and special is the people. They know books, they know what they have and where to find it, and they treat people like, well, people. This is a great place to pop in for a suggestion of a great read. Insider tip: there is a frequent buyers program to ask about.

So grateful to have local bookstores and this one always has a calm atmosphere for my son and I to roam through their selection. For such a small area they have a wide variety of books and hold special events from time to time. I frequently order books from them online and I love that I get a call when the book has arrived, as I tend to miss emails from time to time and enjoy the kindness their staff has shown me. Hope they are in business for a long time!

Quaint bookstore in El Dorado Hills. It has been opened for 12 years but this was my first visit. Positives are that it had a book on the shelf that about 5 others did not have. Bought it !!!. Negatives were it didn't, in my opinion, have a cozy feel. Photos would explain my feelings better but I forgot as usual. Will be back in the near future for the knowledgeable staff and friendly professional services.
