Poor Customer Service Experience

I recently visited Famous Footwear and was extremely disappointed with the customer service. The staff lacked basic customer service skills, offering little to no assistance when I needed help. They seemed disinterested in answering my questions and made no effort to provide a positive shopping experience. It felt like they didn’t care about the customers at all, which made the whole experience frustrating and unpleasant. I won’t be shopping here again, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend it to others who value good customer service.

I arrived yesterday at 5pm and found a sign saying come back in 45 minutes for a lunch break. Is this true? With several employees, do they all eat lunch at the same time? Why close? There were 3 families waiting outside. I couldn't go back anymore. I have limited time.

The staff was the only nice part of this store. The shoes are all out of order. Nothing is where it should be. They barely had any of my sons size which he’s not even a difficult shoe size. The shoes displayed on the top of the shelf can’t be found because the shoes in the boxes underneath it are completely different or mixed, just dysfunctional.

Arrived at 4:40 there was a sign on the door it said they would reopen at 4pm. Others were waiting outside. Left and came back around 5:30 waited in my car and saw an employee inside walked up to her setting the alarm when she came out she just said there's an emergency the store is closed. Didn't put another sign up letting customers know the store will be closed the rest of the night. No wonder stores are going bankrupt. While I waited I saw a least a dozen people trying to go inside.

Sign on the door said it would open back up at 4pm. Was standing out there with others and it was 4:30pm. Highly unprofessional, will not be coming back.

if there is 0 ill put ZERO for this place!!!! we are ready to pay for the items and the lady said she can help us but the guy (idk if he is the manager or not) but he said they are closing for lunch ( at 3:20 pm) and we have to come back after an hour so just hold on the items that we wanted to buy. we are really disappointed!!!because we are ready to pay and the lady said we can pay but the guy said no and return after an hour?!!!the fact that it wouldn’t take morethan 5 mins to pay for the items. i will not coming back to this place and I will never recommend this place! shout out to the nice lady!!!

Went to this store to pickup some sneakers for my children, lots of choices, big store. I would have given 5 starts but as large as this place is the air conditioner DEFINITELY should have been on. The young lady working was doing multiple jobs at once and you could see she was overwhelmed with little help. She definitely doesn't deserve to work in those ridiculously hot conditions nor does anyone else. I was in the store approximately 25 minutes and was dripping sweat. My kids were complaining too.

Prices are good, if you can locate the style and size you are searching for. They will order what you want, if you're willing to wait. Once delivered, if unacceptable, you can return directly to the storefront for refund, exchange, or store credit.
