If you live in or nearby Venice and haven’t tried Fifi’s you are missing out on stellar service, incredible inventory and prices you can afford. Consigning is easy. Fifi’s provides guidance. The price reductions allow for already great prices. Even in season parking is plentiful. And… right next door is the furniture and decor branch. Check it out! ENJOY!

Rude and Incompetent!
I have managed 3 specialty clothing boutiques, I have also been selling on eBay (just my own items) for 9 years with a 100% positive feedback, so I KNOW cloths, it's my thing! All that said, here was my experience w Fifi's clothing "boutique" Venice
I called interested in taking items to consign. The manager, I believe her name is Sue, briefly explained the policy.
When I arrived, she explained that after 30 days, items get marked down 1/2, another markdown after 60 days & @ 90 days, they Donate My Items!?! What? I can't get them back? Nope, that is their policy. Ok it makes no sense but I was there so I thought, I'll try it but I did not leave all I intended to. I counted twice, 25 items, many new w tags priced from $70 to $130. Sue did turn down 1 item which was a brand new pair of Slim Factor pull on jeans from Dillards $70. As others have said, she does not seem know brands. My count was 25 items.
Everything I left was new or new condition. I had already checked everything, no issues! At the 30 day mark, I called to see if it would be alright if I came a few days late to pick up my check but Sue rudely interrupted me, asked for my name (I gave her my full name) she informed me that I had sold some items & I had about $14 & that she saw I had shopped against my credit?!?
I said no ma'am, I have not been in your store since I left my items, she didn't hear my entire sentence, interrupted me & said oh no, just one time I shopped against my credit, I said No Ma'am it was Not Me! Said she would have to look up who signed for the credit & fix it.
I then asked her about her policy again, saying "I don't understand why I can't pick up my stuff after the 90 days. You have to pull it anyway to donate & How do I know that an employee hasn't put something in the back or an item is set to be donated & goes in someone's car instead of being donated?" She said, "that doesn't happen here and I'm offended that" she interrupted herself "would you like to pick up your belongings?" I said yes & she said, "I should have that ready by tmrw" I arrived the next afternoon. I gave her my full name & stated "I believe I have some items to pick up" she was like a deer in the headlights, had no clue why I was there. An employee had to tell her who I was and why I was there. Sue then went to get my money & a sheet explaining what of my items sold. I did not get a copy of that sheet. She explained that " they couldn't find 2 of my items, so she paid me out for them as if they had sold, & they typically are not responsible for stolen merchandise" The previously helpful employee brought my cloths to me. I was taking them off the hangers until I reached the last 4 items, they were not mine. I told Sue, these are not mine. She said "oh these aren't yours?" I said no. I asked how many items sold, she counted 11. I said I left 25 items, I have 9 here, that means 5 are missing. She again asked me, these aren't yours? I said No She said she had on her sheet that I brought in 28 items. I said "it was 25, so where are the rest of my items?" She said she "didn't know & sometimes things get donated before they reach the floor due to imperfections" All my items were in pristine condition! Unbelievable!!!
So she had my consigners number on 4 items (that were bu.. ugly btw), probably set to be donated while my new items with tags are where? I was paid out $71.20 for 11 items, so $6.47 each or plus 5 more items that mysteriously vanished so that would be $4.45 per item.
Now if I had been a dishonest person and took the ugly cloths that they suggested were mine, that would have really messed up someone else's inventory, which is obviously already messed up.
This manager seems a little more than a little confused. And in my experience, when someone is so rude and offended by what I suspect would be common questions regarding policy, well...
Enter at your own risk, they are unorganized at best. I won't ever go back or recommend

Fifis is a great local consignment shop best, in my opinion, for women in the 50-70s age range. If you are younger, look for purses, shoes, or semi or formal attire for work or a modest night out, but there's not much selection if you are under 35. Prices are usually 24 or 30 dollars an item full price, and they are washed, pressed, and in almost new condition. After 30 days, you get the items for half off, or 25% off if they are "designer." They are pretty picky about the name brands and styles that they accept. They have a lot of 3/4 and capri length items that older women prefer and seasonally appropriate attire.

Very rude. Went to look at a Louis Vuitton, said, “Hello, how are you?” to the woman at the counter and I did not get an answer back, but a rude snobby look. I didn’t even get the price of the bag, but I’ll never be returning. Not sure who they think they are, but need a reality check. It’s a consignment shop in a plaza, relax.

I went to this shop with brand new Lululemon items with tags, lots of new Free People items and many things from Anthropologie as that is where I shop mostly. They took nothing! This is an absolute store for older woman who only like Chicos and apparently nothing else. They also treat you as if you are a peon. Not exactly sure what they are so snobby about. They work at a consignment shop!!!! Or own it. Either way that is not an elite position in society there ladies.
