I’ve tried their other cafe in another location and this spot was just as good/consistent.

I just ordered a plain black coffee and it was great, flavor and temperature was on point. The ice cream and other dessert items were very tempting and the workers were very polite.

I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items.

A very nice small and bright space with solid coffee and ice cream options. Had a great cappuccino and loved that there were multiple espresso options, and the Thai tea ice cream was to die for.

Really nice and cozy coffee shop next to the school and some hotels.

We came here to eat breakfast and work. Idk if they had wifi, but the coffee was good and the bathroom was okay. The door was annoying. There are a lot of tables and the seating is comfortable.

The avocado toast was really good too, especially the salad that came with it.

I wanted to love this place from the initial photos and from first walking in. They did a great job at creating a cool vibe in what could have been another boring retail space. Although there seems to be a work-in-progress section toward the back. As someone who always gets an espresso and a small sweet treat, it was annoying that their only pastry type option comes in three (or five) and they won’t do just one. When I reluctantly ordered the three, one of them was of the wrong flavor from what I actually ordered. Lastly, while the espresso was pretty good, it was served to me in a fairly large to go paper cup even though I specified I’d be staying in. There’s nothing worst than drinking an espresso out of a laughably large paper cup. All of these missteps, along with the barista not being particularly friendly, and the bathroom being in pretty substandard shape, just killed the whole experience for me. One and done in my view.

This place is SO cute and yummy!!

Parking is sufficient (for Pasadena) in the back for 1 free hour.

There is maybe one or two tables for outdoor seating but honestly, inside is where it’s at! It has like a home-y cafe feeling with cute pastel colors.

Employees are nice even though super busy!

I ordered the Butterfly Pea Latte with almond milk and it was delicious!!!! Not only tasty, but super cool to look at (the girl sitting next to me even asked me what I ordered and she contemplated getting it before she left)!

I would definitely come back!!

Calling all future and current hojicha fans: you'll want to try their iced hojicha latte (with espresso or without are good - I did w/o) and with almond milk. I've tried several successful and delicious hojicha lattes, but I have to say this one was the best. I even wanted to buy their tea leaves!

Their ice cream choices were phenomenal! Every flavor sounded so good. I got there in morning and told myself I would get ice cream before I left but my appetite changed by that time so I sadly didn't have room for it. I didn't order food but when other people's order came out, I was nosy and looked at it and everything looked appetizing!

The decor is cute and calming. I spent a few hours here working and was productive. Because it's next to Pasadena City College, there's a rush at certain times so it can get loud.

Parking around the area is 1 hr free street parking, and the lot is the same.

I gotta go back for the ice cream so I'll have another review for this place eventually haha

I could definitely see the efforts put in both food and drinks... would definitely visit again. Great for study, catchup, or any purpose. This will be my new go-to-cafe 😊
