I visited this place today hoping to find a cozy bookstore in my local area. Instead I found place overflowing at the brim with political propaganda aimed at child audiences. The Valley is desperate for just a normal bookstore.

Was very excited to check this store out and unfortunately left disappointed. Prices are high. Store is dirty and unkept. Staff were not friendly and avoided eye contact, I had to got to a different employee (maybe the owner?) to ask a question. Lots of LGBT aimed directly at children…

Don't forget to check out the dragon in the powder room. The staff is lovely and kind. The books are dust free and proud. There's a reason the bookstore outlasted blockbuster. Ahh ?

A cozy, funky, fabulous bookstore. Extensive alaskana section, some local authors and keepsakes. Highly recommend! Wish I lived closer.
