I called several times trying to make an appointment. No one picks up the phone. That's no matter what time you call you. Leave the message and you have to wait 3 days for someone to return your call. So you're able to make an appointment? This is unacceptable and truly so sad for the health department quite disappointed.

I just wanted to say thank you to the WIC Office from day one of my pregnancy journey to helping me with both breastfeeding and bottle feeding. I had to do both bottle feed and breastfeed with my twins. I wasn’t able to fully breastfeed but, every single beautiful person in the WIC office was phenomenal. They fully were so supportive from the heart and so compassionate from the heart. There hard work and heart shines through every single thing they do. They pour into every single soul and beautiful babies that come through their door as if they were their own. Our time is almost up and I just wanted to reach out from our hearts to yours you guys made such a big beautiful difference in our lives and played an amazing role. You’re all great role models and teachers. We will never forget you all, we will never forget your kindness and compassion. As one tired mama I can’t count the times I came in and had the best help from each and every one of you!!!💚💜🧡💚❤️💚💜🧡💚❤️ each and every single one of you are special and so loved more than you will ever know!!!!! I pray that you all stay blessed because, you all truly embrace and make the pure biggest difference in everyone’s lives. You all will forever live in our hearts. 🥰 we love you all so much!

WIC- they never answer their phones and if you leave voicemail you better hope and pray they actually call you back. I went to my appointment with my 2 children to find out the nutritionist Valerie wasn’t even in. Grace the manager told me she would call me and never did to finish my appointment! I call them to find out she left for the day and will call me tomorrow (if she ever will) after I took the day off because initially they said this couldn’t be a phone appt 🤦🏽‍♀️ I missed a whole day of work for this. Extremely unsettling that these are the kind of people who work for low income and deal with the public. On top of her not even calling me back I am the one that had to keep calling to find out why she hasn’t called? Knowing she went home for the day, you’d think out of curiosity they would let me know instead of having me wondering. On top of that THESE PEOPLE ARE LAZY. It’s a shame that these are the kind of people hired to help in social services.

Absolutely amazing! Every encounter with staff was more then pleasant. I was expecting staff to be stiff since it was the health department. They were all more then kind! Of course my son wasn’t happy about vaccines but I think he will forever remember how kind and sweet the nurse was to him. Recommend 1000%!

Never answer the phone and the automatic machine ain’t taking you anywhere. They don’t call back either. When you get there, there is no line and those ladies are yakking away doing nothing .. computers down etc was their excuse each time I am there

you better be early because if you walk in the door on time but if you walk slow to the reception desk because of a disability you may be turned away for not being 15 minutes early and don't forget that you will have to wait for who knows how long for the dr. reception here sucks.

Awful place,the dept of health receptionist for the ebt and cash assistance side was no where near as helpful as she could of been. Before she took copies of my paperwork needed for my recertification and gave them to the right person. Not today she did not care to help . SHAME we have to go hungry my kids and I cause u can't even get anyone on the phone or to call u bCk!
