I recently got a Xbox one a few months back and realized they could play Xbox 360 games. I went into the store and asked if they had call of duty black ops 3 for either Xbox one or Xbox 360 not knowing that the Xbox 360 version wasn’t compatible. When I went in the owners son gave me all the information about the game knowing I had an Xbox one and knew it wasn’t compatible and still sold it to me. I called the store to make sure I could bring it back and get a refund and the owner on the phone said I could bring it back today and she would refund me( not give me store credit) and when I went back in the owners son just gave me store credit even though he knew when I first bought it my Xbox wasn’t compatible with the game! Totally ripped me off! If you shop here be mindful that if anything is broken or you simply don’t like it you will NOT get refunded and will get ripped off!
To add the owner is gonna comment on my post about the return policy. Frankly if you stand on that anytime someone buys something they should be verbally told about the return policies. I was in there for 3 mins max and didn’t look at anything just talked to her son at the counter. So no I didn’t look up at the return policy sign.

Decent shop, however there are things you need to know. I recently purchased a ps3 from them, and they told me I would have 7 days to return if anything went wrong, which is reasonable. Something I wasnt really expecting until they called me, they said the console wouldnt come with the dualshock 3. Whatever im getting it for a decent price. Bought it, then I took it home and thought the ethernet port didnt work, so I took it back for them to check. It was a user error, however when I got up there they told me I wouldnt get a REFUND (even with a receipt), and they would just give me store credit, which was a big shocker. I just said okay I understand, even though I really don't. Now I have actually found a problem with the console being that the optical port doesnt work. Whats the point in bringing it back if I only get store credit. Its not like they will just give me another ps3 in its place. Haven't liked the place since it moved across town.

EDIT: I will not be coming back, It is too late now anyways, and even with the optical port out it still plays, it can be repaired. No refunds is the last straw, for me personally. I still give you 3 stars because you usually are really cheap for games and consoles, and I just want people to know what to expect when shopping there.

I have a service dog. The first time I came into this store I was harassed by the employee for an ID card (which isn't legally required and isn't accredited. I can get my jar of nutella registered as a service dog.) I explained the laws and was continually told I had to leave. I fought for my rights and was able to stay and purchase the things I wanted to purchase. I have dreaded going back in but today I finally did. I am so proud of them. They asked me the two legal questions and allowed me to continue about my business. They were polite and courteous. I am so glad that they've read up on the laws. Thank you! Accommodations are the reason I can live my life and feel safe. You have shown maturity and growth and you definitely have my business!

A couple things I'd like to say to the owners directly:
- I appreciate the employee who asked us these questions. He deserves a raise honestly.
- I do however think that it's incredibly weird that you actually watch the cameras so much that you called to make sure he asked me these questions. That makes me slightly uncomfortable at walking into your store. But I understand why you take precautions.
- Before posting this review I read all previous ones of your store. As a completely friendly tip, I'd like to let you know that the way you come across in some of your responses to negative reviews is very unprofessional and highly confrontational. It's important to remain calm and be helpful even when someone is irate. It might be in your best interest not to drag customers through the mud for leaving a negative review. They are still potential customers after all! Stay positive and professional!?

Trans shopper here, regularly there without any incidents. Always had friendly conversation there and quick, friendly, inexpensive repairs. This local store has allowed to me amass a sizable Genesis collection over the years.

I love this place. Way better than gamestop. Every experience i’ve had here has always been great. First time I went was in 2016 or 2017. Just went back yesterday and I loved the screen were you place the order so you dont have to look for the game , instead the selection is right in front of you! Also the sound it makes when you place the order was super groovy lol
