Stopped in today and can't help but want to leave a review. This welcoming community space had me asking questions when I usually feel too shy, and finding games for my partner and I that I was very excited about. Mary took the time to recommend something at the exact involvement level I was interested in, and explained the game I was looking at by playing a short round with me! It really made a huge impact on my day and experience. A fun, well stocked, and wonderful little shop. Prices are what is to be expected in an affluent tech town, and the quality of service was worth every cent!

The staff is super friendly and helpful. The shop itself is very cozy and has a great selection.

A bit pricey compared to other retailers though. Most of the standard sized board games are about $10 higher than expected and big box games are about $20 more than expected. I assume that’s because it’s Palo Alto so it makes sense.

Overall it’s a solid store but pricey.

Fantastic gem of a spot to play board games with friends or make new ones. Everyone is super friendly from the staff to other players. Tons of games in their game library that you can use during the open play sessions with some of the sessions being free depending on the day. Check the calendar on their website for details.

Lovely shop! Inside and out. Great selection of board games and small stocking stuffer stuff. And when I wanted to make sure to get a specific card game for the holidays, their website was well set up to take my order for pickup.

I am so lucky to have walked by Gamelandia. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff and the owner. If you or anyone you know, including children, love playing games, this is the place for you. It's hard to imagine that a small space can have all the games and books that they have. Please shop here to keep them around. I haven't even mentioned their game rooms and all of the game events that they host. I would give this store 10 stars if I could. This store is not to be missed.

This place is great. So clean and bright. The people working there are the best out of all the stores that I frequent. Also, their Lorcana community is great. Just Stu is cool AF and very knowledgeable, Alex is great and super friendly even when he looks like he is not friendly and cool and last but not least Ana, what a wonderful person. Great team.

So many games to choose from! Trying to not buy from Amazon anymore and instead directly front small businesses and Gamelandia had the specific game I was looking for (The Great Dalmuti)! Plus I got some other cool games that I can’t find in stores like Target, etc. One game’s box came with a small bit of damage, but not enough to affect the quality of the game inside. Will definitely order from them again.

My son has been attending their dungeons and dragons campaigns for about a year. He is now in their advanced D&D class/campaign. All of the staff have always been very kind, patient, and helpful. My son has always enjoyed his campaigns and says the DMs are awesome. They have an amazing selection of board games and D&D resources too.
