We visited George Town with our 3-year-old and 3-month-old and had a truly delightful experience! The town’s charming streets, colorful buildings, and vibrant culture provided so much to explore. It was surprisingly family-friendly, with stroller-accessible paths and plenty of spots for kids to enjoy. Our toddler loved the open spaces and fun activities, while we appreciated the welcoming atmosphere and variety of dining options. The locals were kind and accommodating, which made the trip even more enjoyable. George Town is a perfect blend of history, culture, and family-friendly fun. We highly recommend it as a destination for families traveling with young children!

It's just okay. Lots of fried food, it got us full and was cheap. Perhaps I would try to Asian food next time. They had a picture menu for those food options, and they looked so good. The elephant thigh was a shock on the menu. We were not brave enough to try that.

I love the Publix there it's a clean well-stocked store but I hate the parking lot. It's another maze, turn here, stop here, etc.

Typical Walmart, take that as you want, lol.
Although every time I go in there seems to be fewer and fewer cashier's. Obviously moving towards being all self checkout. If I have to scan and bag my own groceries, where's my discount?

Parking lot is usually busy and full. If you go early in the morning It's better. They have handicap parking all throughout the parking lot.

Went to Publix. They are a always clean and well organized and have some very good sale prices. And I'm real glad they're giving rain checks again because sometimes thier BOGO's are so good they fly off the shelves.
When the news is filled with some of the shortages in stores, and the extreme price increases on some items it's nice to know at least at this time we have such a nice solid grocery store chain around the Athens area.
I hope they keep up the good work !!!
