I went to this Goodwill store searching for a new lamp for my bedroom, one that would work with a smart bulb. Found some shoes bird cage heels 12.00 retails for 185.00 used ebay 🙂 found sizes up to 5xl lots of new items. I purchased 4 shirts Deadpool for 3 bucks each brand new!!

I shop good wills across the state of FL. Some know how to price things and some do not. This Goodwill has prices higher that eBay! This means that I could find them cheaper online!!! Obviously this is my opinion but I do spend 10's of $1000 each year in Goodwill's, have the receipts to prove it!!! I would suggest to the people pricing at this location to remember, they are a brick and mortar store and their prices should be in line to sell to local clientele. You should not be pricing it to get more than online stores!

The Goodwill boutique section in the main Goodwill on Cortez is very nice. It has lots of selection and a ton of variety. There is a nice jewelry section and lots of shoes and high-end brands. The staff is wonderful and the quality is generally pretty high. The only downfall is the fact that their prices have been going up so high that sometimes they sell things higher than the discounted price on the store website. I have seen Target brands price higher than it was on clearance at Target itself. Overall though, it is very interesting and fun to shop the boutique section.

Goodwill has become a very expensive place to shop and very greedy, considering that all the items for sale have been donated. We, the customers, have to pay the CEOs salaries: "Paddock Post reported that the CEOs of the 12 largest Goodwill organizations received between $370,000 and $900,000 in compensation annually".  "According to Zippia, several Goodwill CEOs make an average salary of around $500,000 per year. Some believe this is a substantially high salary for the CEO of a non-profit". I prefer to support small non-profit thrift stores and only shop at Goodwill in case of urgency, when ot small thrift stores are closed.

That was my last visit. Prices are ridiculous and you won't find a bargain because Goodwill is rich and they are getting richer. I no longer donate to them. I would advise others to donate to the smaller thrift stores as they donate to the church or the kidney foundation or Saint Judes.
Check out your smaller thrift stores who don't pay out big dollars to the CEO and you will find nice things for great prices.
