Worst experience. This woman made me wait 2 weeks for pants that needed a zipper replacement,just to tell me she wasn’t going to do it, because she couldn’t find the same kind. I mean i told her it was fine from the beginning which is why i left them in the first place. Bad communication and bad customer service, i honestly felt discriminated by her. So i do not recommend this place.

Very nice people, however this gentleman needs to accept the fact that he is no longer physically able to do upholstery anymore. This was a simple job as I removed all arms and legs for him and put them back on so he had an empty frame to work on. The padding is all lumpy and uneven and every cushion is a different size and not straight. There are raw edges of material sticking out of the side. I’ve already had to do significant sewing on places that have come loose and the material is all puckered. This is a very special family piece that is 60 years old, and I’m now going to have to pay someone else to redo it and buy several hundred dollars of additional material.
They need to stick to small jobs and clothing.

I would not recommend this place at. I came and to have my bridesmaids dress altered. When I first came in, they did not seem like they wanted to help me and then I tried on the dress and explain what was going on with it and they told me it would be a week and then that was it and they were done so I left and I came in the next week to pick it up. Tried it on, and the dress did not fit good at all they made the dress go lower in the back somehow so it’s really unflattering, and when I was trying the dress on again there was a dead cockroach. In the fitting room and I was visibly unhappy and the lady said that it was fine and the dress looks good now. so I just wanted to pay for the dress and leave. And they tell me that I have to pay cash or check they did not tell me that at all so I didn’t know that I needed cash so I had to leave the dress there for another week because they didn’t tell me that I needed to pay a certain way. Also, they never even called to confirm that my dress was even done, so I was very angry that they didn’t even tell me how I need to pay Also, the prices were expensive for what little they had to do. So overall, I would never go here again

I would never ever go here again.

First off they were not friendly in any way nor did they even seem interested in helping me. I had come in a month and a half before my wedding to have alterations made to my dress.
Because I was in the process to of loosing weight, she told me to come in three weeks before the wedding for her to do the dress alterations.
Three weeks before the wedding I come in, she pins the dress for the alterations and tells me it will be ready one week before the wedding. No problem, sounds good.

I come in to pick up the dress and IMEDIATELY notice she did not do the alterations she had said she would. I put on the dress and it does not look the way she had said it would. It didn't fit correctly either.
I was visibly upset about it to which she nonchalantly goes "It looks better than before".
The alterations she did do were not as nice as she had made them out to be.
I asked why the alterations I wanted weren't done and she replies saying that if she had done them they would have ruined the dress. Ok I understand that but she never thought to call me or tell me by email that she couldn't do the one main alteration I wanted.
The dress did not fit right at all or look flattering. She then proceeded to charge me full price for work she didn't do.
I was left to buy a new wedding dress 5 days before my wedding.

I've been a customer for years now. I've had many clothing articles altered and with the exception of only one time was there ever an issue. When brought to their attention, it was immediately corrected. They made a slip cover for an otterman as well as reupholstered 6 dining room chairs for me. Both jobs were exact, and have held up very well over the years. I highly recommend them. They do a terrific job, for a reasonable price and are nice people to boot! What more could you ask for?

HIGHLY recommend Granny’s. I slacked and waited until the last minute to get my bridesmaid dress altered. They did an amazing job accommodating for me and made sure I had my dress on time. & it fits perfectly! Definitely will be bringing my next bridesmaid dress here.

DO NOT GO HERE! If I could give no stars I would. I gave them the dress on Monday, they said it would be done by Wednesday. I go in Wednesday at the time I was supposed to pick it up and they said look in the back for it. My dress was gone, they had lost my dress and did not know where it was. I missed pictures. I finally get a text that they have it and she took it home. So I had to wait another day when my prom is on Friday. Very rude about it, her husband was extremely rude about it and talked very nasty. They took absolutely no money off when we payed for a rush and still have it to us late. She tried to grab the dress out of my hands and broke my hanger.
